Spiderman dying is such a big thing in this movie and its so perfect because you heard him say he's so tired when fighting prowler maybe he means as in being spiderman and having to fight his foes? He wanted to die because if he didn't his spider sense would've just saved him but he chose this to be his fate and it encourages Miles to be a better hero like when iron man died in endgame. It sets such a good movie
I think saying that he wanted to die is a bit of a stretch but maybe he just wanted to be a regular guy and not have to worry about being the hero behind that mask.
It might also show how he would end up as Peter b Parker if he was still alive also but because his life was so perfect he may of just stopped and left miles finish his line of duty as for Peter b his life wasn't very perfect he still kept going I don't really know but possibly lol
See your overthinking it. It was a literal foreshadowing of his death, saying “im tired” in the middle of the fight. It was fate not being on his side because he was meant to die. Normally spiderman would beat these guys but fate said no
