Stuffed animals... does there need to be a time in our lives when we need to let them go their own separate way and we go ours? Logan seems to think so. But Patton is not about to let it go down like that so easily. And this time, he's coming with backup. In this video, I explored what benefits there may be to owning a plushy, regardless of the age of the person, and I wasn't expecting to find what I found. Hope you enjoy!

Seeing Remus’s arm at the end in Roman’s room has convinced me of one of two things:
1. Remus likes breaking into his brothers room and slightly moving something to piss him off
2. Remus doesn’t have his own room, he just sleeps under Roman’s bed (in the buff)
Both of these are equally possible, but consider this:

I like how Patton, Roman and Virgil worked together to make Logan understand, not with debates but with methods that not only helps Logan understand, but also impress him
I feel like all the sides except Logan wanted to keep Benjamin, and Remus was just silently sending keep Benjamin vibes. And Thomas then lied to Logan at the end in order to calm him. So we have Janus

Selflessness Redux video, at the timestamp 20:21, at the top of the screen there are 5 icon things and it quickly scrolls through them, the second one is orange and the word that appears is Passion. Now that could potentially be Roman but it could be the new side that is being hinted about.

This came out the day before my grandfather's funeral. It made my sadness go away. Especially when Patton said about them helping through grieving a loved one. Love you Thomas. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face at this extremely hard time

It genuinely made me smile when Roman thanked Virgil. I feel like those two have become so so much closer than when they first met, and atleast in my own perspective seem to be two of the closest almost. And that warms my heart thinking of where they started
I think they especially bonded after Flirting With Social Anxiety! The first time they really came together as a duo. Absolutely beautiful character development.
I honestly thought Virgil was being sarcastic there and Roman takes validation wherever he can get it. But I suppose it is possible Virgil is genuinely being encouraging, especially after the events of Flirting with Anxiety.🤔

I mentioned this video to my Dad when it came out and I didn't have money to buy the stuffed animals so I asked him if I could get them for Christmas. He said he wasn't able to get them before they sold out, but when I was opening up my presents this morning there they were. Turns out he looked up the minute they started being sold and set an alarm ten minutes before and bought them as soon as he could. Truly the best Christmas present I have ever gotten.
The funniest part was when Patton knew exactly what Logan was gonna say. Logan’s reaction to it in 2:25 was hilarious😭

10:05 Seeing Logan's reaction to Patton saying "sometimes passion makes you act a little silly" is pushing me to believe that the orange side is going to be Passion instead of Wrath/Anger. Passion can be both a good and bad thing depending on the situation. So, it would make sense for it being the new side and explains Logan's uncomfy reaction to Patton's words.
Passion could also have anger issues to be sort of both! Passion can often lead to anger and fights..passion is mostly described as just strong feelings and strong desires that are uncontrollable, anger can be a very strong and uncontrollable emotion so they'd fit together well imo; passion is often described as intense hatred (wrath/anger) or the opposite being intense love for something (the more common usage). I think it'd be better for them to be passion as if they were wrath/anger it'd make them pretty 1 dimensional character-wise..passion gives a little more room for personality and other stuff besides just "rrrrrr i'm ANGRYYY"

It would also make sense, seeing as the other Dark Sides have their own pros and cons. Like Janus- deceit can be helpful in life or death situations, but is normally frowned upon and can get you and others in trouble. Remus and Virgil kind of work in sync- they give you thoughts about bad things that could happen which can be annoying, frustrating, and mentally deteriorating, but also warn you so you can protect yourself. Passion would DEFINITELY make sense seeing as it would work with the other darks.
I doubt that cause could’ve sworn somewhere it was stated that Roman represented Thomas’s passions. I also doubt the whole Wrath/Anger thing to because that seems like it would be more of Patton’s domain

I’m always so surprised when people actually end up with “real” names for their stuffed animals. I literally have a stuffed bear named Bear, and when my mom asked if I wanted to give it a “real” name I called it Pinky because it’s pink 💀 imagine being creative enough to give your stuffie a full name

I've been watching Sanders Sides for a couple of years now, but this is the first time that I've watched it since realising that I'm non-binary and I actually never realised how much it means to be included in the 'guys, gals and non-binary pals'. I know it's one of those things that can be considered the bare minimum, but it's so so lovely to be included by one of my favourite ytubers

@@samlewis6487 My theory is orange has something to do with wrath, but that would also encompass passion. Roman can, of course, have elements of that too but he is also mostly about imagination, hopes and dreams. Just a theory though, of course.

Something along those lines...So, maybe it's simply reiterating that he doesn't like to show his feelings (or "passions") a lot.

Tomas is an exceptional creator. About 99% of internet creators don’t mean anything to me and it doesn’t make a difference in my day if I see them or not. Tomas is the exception. It always makes my day to see his content and to some degree his funny little videos will probably be in my memory for the rest of my life.

There's also lots of other things that can give you free serotonin like old movie tickets, movie posters, fan art, figurines, video games, like I have these little cute warrior cat figures of Squirrelflight and Jayfeather and I have a plush of that puppet Professor who liked to sing and teach us stuff, and I have a Sonic plush, and I have funko pops of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, and I have a BIG FREAKIN' PIKACHU PLUSH-do I have a problem?
Anyways so I have like a TON of things that just give me ALL the serotonin when I'm not feeling so great. And there's something called comfort characters or comfort shows too and people with high anxiety often revert back to watching shows they have already seen. This is called the status quo bias and we have these habits like maybe watching Yu-Gi-Oh or Avatar the Last Airbender or the Office for the dozenth time over something new because it lowers the risk of disappointment or distress. Aka it gives us free serotonin baBY.
Can comfirm for that last part! I remember I once had a meltdown and sat under a mountain of blankets and plushies whilst watching Sanders Sides, it really helped! :D
Gotta respect the free serotonin. I have pictures of texts, random funny images saved from pintrest and just other pictures and a whole lot of liked videos I keep as just a bank of free serotonin.

First of all Logan with all of the plushies set up together is everything to me! Second of all I got so happy when I saw Virgil I almost started crying, I’ve been struggling with my anxiety for awhile now and I often go back to some of the first videos with Virgil in them because he just help

Last we left off in the series, Thomas is having an existential crisis over if he’s a bad person and if he can really trust the darker side of himself. I would really hope we get some closure.

I see many people saying that Patton's comment about how "passion can make you act a little silly" means that the Orange Side could be Passion.
And my answer to that is: Yeah, nice theory. Except that _Roman_ has already been outright labeled as Passion in SvS Redux, so I've no idea how that would play into things? Could be an early easter egg, but if so I doubt it, because Roman has always been the one associated with Passion and everything it entails the most anyway. And I don't know that two sides can share the same label unless we have another Remus situation here.
Either way, have fun though! Everything that we can gleam of Orange counts, we can't knock it until we meet him, and it _is_ nice to read you guys speculating here.
Actually, anger can fuel passion and creativity. Channeling anger can be beneficial to creativity..but hurtful to self esteem especially related to shame, guilt and regret. So Orange could effect Roman both good and bad.

I ACTUALLY started tearing up at the end when Logan had all of them near his bed. Especially after what's been happening in the more recent videos and him feeling separated from the others. It was actually really super sweet.

Loved this sm!! Also, small, but notice how defensive Roman got about Logan talking about loneliness. Everything so far and this just foreshadows his loneliness and love issues, with himself and with others.
Also, him asking validation from his puppet. Talking about how it never judges him. The sides almost always judge him. I mean like Logan says, “agreeing with you for ONCE.” Considering he is Thomas’s pride, it probably hits hard because that’s what he represents. Validation helps with pride and he doesn’t get it. Roman needs his plushie to feel less alone and feel good enough.

These videos have made me and so many other people VERY happy over the past few years, and I can not explain how much you and these characters mean to us.
