Yay for more life boats!
Your pardon the pun but they have been trying to float this idea for better part of 10 years. If this was a movie I would say it's stuck in production hell.
But realistically after that sub imploded investigating the Titanic, I think that put the nail in the coffin for these sorts of ideas.
Cruise ships get bigger every year for a reason. Economics. The Titanic was big for its day but it's miniscule now compared to what's out there. Plus it's a long long time since the Cameron movie. I don't think this thing can ever be financially viable.
Look there are a handful of vintage trains that still run nostalgic tours. But a train is a lot smaller.

I agree. It is very gimmick and has been hyped for a long time. I see this as more of a theme park cruise which in my opinion, is morbid.
