If I remember correctly, this file was available on the file section of a FB group. Unfortunately I follow quite a few groups so I can’t specifically say which. I really appreciate the kind words!
What’s the secret? I’ve tried shellac but I still get bleed through into the wood. Even after sanding the wood turns black, the paint is dry, shellac is dry. Nice work btw.
Yea it can be difficult. I also get bleeding even after using shellac or lacquer. I really can’t say for sure but I do sometimes do a deeper depth of cut so it allows me to sand more material, which allows me to get most of the bleeding
@Mr.Peabody961 it’s tough to say. If I’m carving a file I bought from Etsy or got from FB I pretty much leave it alone. But if I’m making something from scratch I always go through the list to see what works. I also browse dafont.com and see what looks cool.
Very nice. The wood choice looks great. Do you sell the carve file or is it available online?

@@encarwoodworking what tooling and setup did you use for the words? 60 degree? .1 depth?
@Mr.Peabody961 I’ll check when I get home but it was definitely 60 degree vbit.
@@encarwoodworking thanks, appreciate it. Btw what fonts work for you I’m still struggling with finding ones that consistently look good.

How long did it take to carve?
It took me 8ish hours of actual carving.
