Linbrook Bowl Vintage Googie Lighted Neon Sign At Night - Anaheim, California

This is the Googie-style neon sign at Linbrook Bowl at the corner of Lincoln and Brookhurst (hence the name) in Anaheim, CA. We once talked to an employee who told us that the upkeep of this sign is very expensive, but that it is their pride and joy!

I used to live not far from there as a kid in the 60’s. In the neighborhood behind the taster freeze . Would ride my bike to go there . It’s fantastic that it’s still there. Beautiful !

There used to be so many striking neon signs in the Anaheim area. I wonder if any of the others were captured on video before they were destroyed? Growing up there in the 1960's they were a normal, but impressive sight. Miss them now.
