E jeno shei chokh....my tribute to Sri Subir Sen & Sri Abhijit B. who share their birthday today.

I pay my humble tribute to the musical duo; renowned composer Sri Abhijit Bandyopadhyay and noted singer, Sri Subir Sen who share their birthday today, July 24. Abhijit Babu was an exceptionally brilliant composer of his time. He had composed many beautiful songs for his close friend Subir. Abhijit Babu used to say about his friend - Subir punched the styles of Jim Reeves and Nat King Cole, the two renowned American voices to create an international tone. From Jim Reeves, he picked up the tonal quality and from Nat King Cole, it was the dramatic style in his singing.
Abhijit babu composed this beautiful song in 1968 for Subir babu after listening to Jim Reeves’s “Snow flake, my pretty little snow flake”.
