Tumi amaar prem....my tribute to musical duo Sri Abhijit B & Subir Sen as they share their birthday.
I pay my humble tribute to the musical duo, renowned composer Sri Abhijit Bandyopadhyay and noted singer, Sri Subir Sen who share their birthday on the same day this month, the July 24th. Abhijit Babu was an exceptionally brilliant composer of his time. He had composed many beautiful songs for many golden era artists over the span of 3 decades (and even later), including quite a few numbers for his close friend Subir Sen. Abhijit babu composed this beautiful romantic song seventy years ago (in 1954).
