This is awesome, I modified my Oklahoma Joe stick burner with a new collector and stack at 5" diameter, this was a huge improvement, gonna try this scoop, with a slide in and out front, see how this will work. I would also have to modify my grate to allow the scoop. Fingers crossed.

So the mug is $50. I estimate that pit costs near $12,000 to build. So to break even, you’d only need 240 entries. I guarantee you that more than that will enter. You aren’t giving this away, you are raffling it off and will likely make a huge profit. Which I have no issue with, but don’t call it a giveaway, lol. You mentioned working with a Veteran group to make this happen. I’d like to know more about that before buying in. Thanks!

    • @TheycallmeCummings

That thing looks beastly, and so sad I came in to late to try and win. However, I would be very interested in the plans for one. My wife and I are moving to Cotacachi Ecuador in a few years and I am planning to open a restaurant there and serve up awesome smoked meats. My wife is from Ecuador, and she tells me there are virtually no places that even serve BBQ. Plus, Cotacachi is one of the places expats settle down in, so I am thinking business will be good. I love smoked meats so very very much.
