I love how Tyler Childers and others have influenced a revival of traditional country/ Americana artists. I can't get enough of this so raw and real music, flowing out of the hills of coal country. Coal country is the present and future of country music. The mainstream radio can keep their crappy r&b country. This is REAL.

I think it's a spirit that's been all around a lot longer than Tyler Childress. Good music has always been made we just have more platforms to get it to the public now.

My girlfriend cannot stand my "honkytonk, redneck, country bullshit," but oh man do I love it. I used to listen to rap, 90's country, and rock almost exclusively, but now with artist like Zach Bryan, Logan Halstead, Charley Crocket, Matt Heckler, Benjamin Todd, JR Carrol, Colter Wall, and so many more its almost all small time country music. She'll get over it. My car, my music right?
