- Join me, Kirby Allison, as we experience the pinnacle of the 23rd Annual Habanos Festival - the illustrious Gala Dinner. It's not just any evening in Havana; it's the climax of a week-long celebration, steeped in the tradition and splendor of Cuban cigars.
Tonight's event is brimming with anticipation. We'll witness the prestigious Habanos of the Year awards, honoring remarkable contributions to the cigar world across business, communication, and production. The finalists are known, but the reveal of the winners promises to be a highlight of the festival.
The gala is also a celebration of Cuban culture, with performances from many of the country’s leading artists. And, lastly, it’s also where the famous Habanos humidors are auctioned, each showcasing their creations in one-of-a-kind humidors. And the Habanos auction humidors aren’t just any ordinary humidors; they're masterpieces, each housing a collection of several hundred cigars specially-created cigars.
The proceeds support Cuba's Medical Relief Fund, underscoring the spirit of giving that infuses this event. We'll be enveloped by stellar entertainment, mingling with legends and aficionados, all while enjoying the best of Cuban cigars in a setting that's as extraordinary as the occasion. And of course, we have the exclusive launch of the Partagas Maestro line, a new series featuring single-origin tobacco from Pinar del Rio's San Luis region. With three vitolas on offer, we eagerly await the first taste of what's sure to become a new Habanos classic.

Absolutely wonderful portrayal of a beautiful adventure. I would love to hear the thoughts and stories Kirby and the Sahakians have on enjoying cigars while in the outdoors. Wether it be while sporting in the pheasant fields, or a leisurely stroll in the Scottish highlands. What accessories and cigars do they prefer and what customs do they follow. I’m currently in London and have made quite a few trips to Davidoff (even had the pleasure of running into you last Saturday), but I’m worried about not being able to bring them back, id love to buy a few boxes! I swear they *only give to Jasim* the absolute finest of the finest Top Cuban Cigars. The man had the entire production line of Cohiba on his table recently in a YT short including every size BeHike, regional, or limited edition.
Kirby, keep making relationships in the Habanos family & putting in work and you could perhaps dream of being nominated in communications one future day.

However I found the video of the final gala evening very disappointing with little class and very showy. Not your fault at all but if there is so much money floating about give it directly.
