A fantastic job on the sharpening jig its always nice to watch your videos and see so many other of your builds in use I'm always impressed on all your router improvements and attachments, you always remind me of a close family freind who is a machinist by trade. And always seems to make improvements on everything he does or comes out with another money making patent
I bought Trend's 2 credit card sized diamond plates and have found them to be excellent for all my carbide and HSS tools. The 300 grit is fine on HSS and the 600 grit is great on carbide. Just a few strokes and they're done.
I'd recommend making a clear over blade protector similar to a table saw. PPE's wont save you from a flying broken disc or shrapnel.. You can still see what you're doing and stay protected.
I have cut out all the pieces from the plans and drilled most of the holes. The fittings I was short of arrived today so I will be assembling the saw and router bit sharpener on Friday. I think a 3D router stand might be my next project.
Wonderful jig. Looks like you've made a lot of your own machines - kudos. I don't feel comfortable getting my fingers that close to the TS blade. I always use push sticks no matter what.
Hello to all masters, I consider this offer to be the most versatile device from the available materials for repetition in my workshop and quite popular! Thank you Aoson WoodWorking, I bought Your drawings and will collect, I have accumulated that sharpen already, and in special workshops the prices are horse and sharpen so that there is nothing to carry for the next sharpening. All the best and patience!
This Mr. Paoson appears to be a genius. Certainly smarter than me. You wouldn't believe the time, effort and materials I have wasted making jigs and fixtures that have ended in failures. My hat is off and a big bow !
Hello I paid the download of the construction plan for the saw blade and router bit sharpening jig yesterday - used paypal thus instant payment. So far have not received any download link or email etc. Please explain how downloading works on your channel! Many txs K
I am very impressed with your ideas and projects and I would like to buy some of them but through the bank because I do not have an electronic purchase card
It appears you deburr and hone your router bits with a 'DMT Dia-Sharp' sharpening steel. I find this product disappointing---specifically, the grit wears away after very little use, which of course renders the thing useless. What is your experience with this product?

Rather than buying expensive specialist cleaner - and still having to scrub away! - cheap caustic spray oven cleaner will eat it all off in ten minutes then all it needs is a rinse in water!

When ordering a diamond wheel does it matter what grit I should get? Thanks.

I am thinking about making this only with a drill rather then the grinder do not need that speed or power

is everything in your house made of plywood?

I am very impressed with your ideas and projects and I would like to buy some of them but through the bank because I do not have an electronic purchase card
Simply you can hold the bit in hand
No need of jig
It was a great video

Everything looks good except you rip wood on your table saw and you do it unsafe because your fingers are too close to the blade.
