I wanted to get into the LVN program here in Texas. I couldn’t pass anatomy and physiology. I was like God maybe I’m not meant to be a nurse. I ended up getting into the medical assistant program instead. Maybe I’ll revisit nursing later. Congrats 😊

And y’all so damn lucky ! 😭 It’s like everybody else’s school allows nails, lashes, make up to an extent… and my school act like we in the 18 friggin hundreds!! No lashes, hair color must be NATURAL, and they mean from friggin birth! 😭, hair worn off the collar, we can’t wear hair caps ( head covers), no nose rings ( how tf would they know when they mandating wearing masks )🙄🙄🙄, no multiple earring holes, matter of fact you can wear ONE stud … life as I know it is over. Oh! Did I forget to mention they said even at our pinning ceremony, if we want to participate, we must wear our friggin uniform and same rules apply with the other stuff I said. At this point I’m focused on the NCLEX and this my first semester ! 💀😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Congrats on graduating. I'm in the mix... Working full time overnight, in nursing school full time... Sleep limited hours.... getting fatter, I'm snapping on my wife and kids.... missing ton of family activities. My question is does it get better/worth it when graduation comes and I'm working in yhe field?
YES! It gets A LOT better! Once you graduate and land a position you’ll be making great pay plus, if you work three 12 hour shifts in a week you’ll literally have so much flexibility. I’m currently working as a RN and don’t know what to do with my four days off! Sometimes when I have a gap in my schedule I use the days to travel and have three-day vacations. It’s hard during the semester but once you graduate it gets WAY better❤️!
