Great video Kerrene. My wife is English from Kent region sth of London & moved to Perth some 20yrs ago. I am an Aussie born & bred in Perth. We have travelled extensively both within Aust & abroad. In May we went back to the UK for a wedding & then tripped around Europe for 4 weeks via the high speed Euro train network covering multiple countries . We just recently returned from two weeks in Bali as a chill out holiday. But to tell you the truth we just luv being back home in Perth. My wife worships Aussie as the golden land & idolises our lifestyle especially Perth. It hit home when we visited the UK and tripped around from Kent in the Sth to Yorkshire nth of London. UK & Europe is super expensive in every respect & crowded & hectic & stressful as to the way they live with work dominating their lives & lousy weather most of the year. Great places to visit as a tourist but not to live & work in fulltime (unless you happen to be very wealthy & can travel often. It makes us appreciate the amazing lifestyle we have in WA. We now own our home, have our 4wd & caravan all paid for and just embrace our amazing WA coastline that stretches some 13,000kms with WA being the "2nd largest State" on the planet with Sakha in Russia being the largest. Jump onto YT channel www.youtube.com/@KendallandGlenn to watch an American & her Aussie boyfriend travel Aussie and how much she just adores this country with a real passion
Perth is the most isolated city on the planet. Not that it is a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination 😊. Western Australia has everything an adventurist could want. One could be forgiven for feeling like your on another planet
Great first vlog Kerrene! And defo know what you mean about living abroad being different in your 30s - there’s a lot more to consider, and a lot more to miss out on 😅
thank you sooo much for being here 🤍 please let me know if there are any videos you would like to see of my life between australia & the US xx
