Here's my theory: MoYu executives mash their keyboard to get random characters (like MF3RS2M) for their next cube. GAN executives make a long list of reasonable names, put them up on a wall, and then throw darts at the wall to see what their next cube is called. What do you guys think?

I own and main a Gan XS. I average 15 seconds and I broke sub 10 for the first time solving with the WR M 2020..TWICE. Yes, sometimes it gives a string of very fast times and a string of very slow times but I am starting to see its value as the more you keep solving with it, your turning style can quickly adapt to it.😉

Very good cube. It was my main for about a month but I decided to go back to the Valk Elite because I feel I can control that cube better and not worry about overshooting and locking up. The WRM 2020 has very snappy corner cutting so it always felt like I was catching if I wasn't turning 100% accurately.

The rs3m or qiyi ms are good to start
buy rs3m 2020 or qiyi ms. both good cubes and cheap as well. i wouldnt advise u to spend too much cuz as a sub 30 cuber u prolly dont need flagships and buy the time u reach the level of actually need a >$40 cube, newer, better cubes will come out

I have some flagship like cubes, I also love all of them for some reasons. I love the Valk elite for it’s buttery turns, size and great magnets, the GAN X v2 (I chose that instead the XS because of the magnet customization method) because the smooth, airy turning and light weight, the GTS3M because the crispy-buttery turning and tactile feedbacks. All of them are great, but a few days ago my WoR M 2020 arrived and I think I have a new favourite. If you like fast cubes that do not require a lot of customization to perform very well, but you need some options to customize just in case, i think this cube is the current best buy. RS3M is also good and much cheaper, but for me it was a struggle to set it up correctly, while the WRM 2020 only needed some heavy lube and a bit tighter springs to be fully perfect for my taste. Great review btw, I also really waited for it JPerm!

I made a review on this cube 2 weeks ago and i want to make a v2. The cube literally made me turn faster. Although the one disadvantage of this cube is it eats lube quickly.
you can simply pop each edge piece open and put one of the extra magnets on one of the two magnets in each edge piece. thas what I did and the magnets are perfect for me

Just bought one of these because I think my Gan X's core got bent. Its hard to tell but after it took a hit it just feels so much rougher than before (took it apart and couldn't see a noticeable bend). I know Moyu cubes are bit a more durable, and I almost went with the Valk since I know its stability might make it a decent choice too. Gan cubes are great but they are so hollow that they break even with a slight drop it seems. ahh well, guess it works out since this one pairs well with my Moyu Aosu 4x4; can also take the Gan out now and not worry too much about any further damage.
