One would have expected a lawyer and legal luminary as Monday Ubani to stand by what the law say, the legal and justice that make Mr Monday to be a member of the bar. Asking the law to be thrown out into the bush in place of the wish of a lopsided agreement not in line with Nigeria constitution is a disgrace. It shows how low Monday Ubani has underrated the legal profession which he makes his living and how he want his name to be written in Nigeria legal history. The fact that the political agreement mid-wifed by President Tinubu stated that some people are *DEFECTED* member of house of assembly in sufficient to INVALIDATE any compliance by the other party.

The River State Governor is an executive Governor of the State. He has been bestowed with the executive power to govern. No one has the right to dictate to him on how to govern the State; not even the President of the country has the right to dictate to an executive Governor; under the present presidential system practiced in Nigeria.
He is not answerable to the President, but answerable to the Rivers people that he represents.

For the first time, I am disappointed with Ubani. A lawyer for that matter. If there was intervention by the president and issues persist, the best solution is to strictly follow the law. Even making the president pronounce on constitutional matter at first was all wrong. Nigeria will continue to be backwards until both the high and mighty follow the law

Am happy that the who is who in Rivers, is now coming out to support their Governor openly. The one trying to become the Lord of everybody in Rivers must be stopped completely. Our people are not known for being the slaves of one man. Odili, Amaechi, Omehia all left that office for him in peace, he should equally, leave the office in peace for Fubara -the current Governor.
Fubara should stop fidgeting when he goes to Abuja. He should respect people there but at the same time, assert himself as a Governor.
Fubara should also, start working now even if it means to go and borrow so that Wike does not use his bridges to gain a point against him

There will never be a situation where only one's view to an issue matters in politics.
A governor's tenure is only for 4 years; use it to fulfil your promised dividend of democracy to/for the electorates!

A budget that has been passed and signed into law by the governor should be represented again? Presidential proclamation is a political solution to solve problems and not constitutional means so the governor won't allow the house to take him for granted for implementing the presidential proclamation.

What is Mr Ubani saying ? That political solution should supersede the constitution and he is a lawyer ? This man is sounding like someone who is seeking a favour from Wike and it is unfortunate.

You cannot pass budget when you're no longer member of the party that elected you legally. Tinubu is not the law. He made a selfish reconciliations. Why did he ask those boys to go back to their original party?

The Governor said he will apply the agreement as long as it is legal and will not be detrimental to the reverse people. Paraphrased

Presenting the budget to the house again means legitimacy for the defected members and that's the only power he has over them. If he make the mistake of doing so, power drunk wike will swing into action and bring him down.

Ubani is a not speaking the truth but biased.
How can a budget passed already be represented to the house.
The representatives who are standing on one leg should be quiet and allow peace to reign in Rivers State.
Prof. Wokocha is absolutely saying the simple truth.
How can a governor accent budget twice. NOT POSSIBLE
