@@cppctek yeah i no im pretty much moving away from handhelds what i need it for i cant get with AMD just wish there was a handheld made with Nivida i dont like that fact i have to spend more money to get a XG Mobile just to use Nvidia Broadcast or any of Elgato software
@Daddyezee yeah I feel ya. Steaming from A handheld is tough but if you’re strictly using it for gaming it’s amazing if you tune it right. Tuning and debloating windows is a massive difference. I can get 110-120fps in mw3 at 1080p on the rog ally. The cool thing tho is the new ally x allows you to use any egpu so you don’t have to buy those crazy expensive xg mobiles.
@@cppctek yeah I was thinking about buying one but for the stupidest reason I was looking at a jsaux docking station only problem is I use a portable monitor and the only Mini HDMI I use go right to my GPU so the only other option is USB Type-C and cuz the only cord you can find is type C thunderbolt it’s not going to work I did find a cord that’s HDMi/DP to Type-C USB power Adapter only thing about that is you have to have it powered by USB to get the cord to work
That’s a tough call. If you have big strong hands get the legion. If your a small guy like myself the ally. The weight and feeling of the legion go is a bit much but everything else rocks. But the ally x is the total king of them all if you haven’t seen my review on the x yet

It’s def more like a switch style thumb stick but I think for most games it’s great on emulators and such
