Make schedule for everyday start with small things like 10 minutes exercices / read 20 pages of Book daily / listen to good music / méditation / use your five sense during eating or drinking your coffee / look at yourself in the mirror and Say good words to yourself / heal yourself with good food exercices and listen to your inner voice Always and remember you are a unique création of god and you are created for good reason . Human being can wake up at anytime when they do want. When I go to sleep I just tell my body when I want to wake up, then I will wake up before 1-2 Minutes before my goal. You only need training your body and mind.
The mind is very overwhelming. Very true , the mind is very tricky and will pull you to this ,that and there. Commitment is very difficult for an individual but as a group like a walk in a park
Commitment. Yeah. I like this word. I learnt about breaking words. In practice. By others. That's why I set my alarm clock to ring earlier than I must get up. I once realised that it is important to create discipline by not having the neccessity to set this ringing. Not because you do not get up of course. It's an awakening protected in case I suffer from a... cold. I like this illusion. 😊
Thank you for this. My ex left me for being sick and not healing after 3.5 years after we were engaged. Says he doesn’t know if he’ll be back. Each time I worked with him and a new rule was created why he could not do this or this and it became really wishy washy. This has given me a new perspective in the great pain of it that maybe at least even if I’m this sick I have discipline, a gift that was hard won. I will work on this more and more.

You are on the right track. Believe me, as I am in your same situation, your mind can make you sick as it can heal you and make you stronger than ever before. It takes time and great effort and discipline. But it is 100% possible. Even autoimmune diseases or CFS. The more complex the disease, the more your mind plays a role in it.
There is no negotiation. The price is set and everyone can afford it. We should all pay more to our commitments. Ones actually paying oneself to do the right thing and it shouldn't feel wrong. Wishing nothing but good for you.

How should we act if we are drifting off into the other direction of only being strict and harsh with ourselves and our work? I spent 2022 being extremely disciplined and strict with my training, schedule and work but now that the year is over I'm realizing I was so much into it I didn't have any nice experiences socially, creatively etc... I might be stronger but I also pushed through injuries and my body is just so exhausted. How can I find balance😭
Try this: do something new every day. It will mean you have to think creatively and it will bring more meaning into your life as to the things you want to experience besides the disciplined routine you have set for yourself. And…some seasons of our life is all about structure, systems, organising and other seasons is about letting go, noticing, being more present. What I’m trying to say is if last years you felt you needed to be strict perhaps the reason why you are exhausted and wondering what is balance is because it was too extreme and therefore this year’s goal is to try to bring more awareness of what feels too much and what you can do less of. But I’m just a stranger and I don’t know your story so just take what resonates. Wishing you well.
The Shaolin monks practice discipline everyday by starting everything small, slow and steady. It's not about extreme. It's about bringing our mind, body and spirit back to it's balanced state. 🙏
