He was a Jonin by 14 and gets his genetics from his dad, who was said to be stronger than the three Sauning (I know I spelled it wrong) combined. It took Saskue and almost every other Uchiha stages to learn a Susano, Kakashi whipped one out instantly. He knows all the elements, is smarter than shikamaru and his raw talent let him stand against a 10 tails Obito who was half Hasirama woth the cells in his body. Pain is plenty powerful and raw power he would win, a Chakra battle Pain would win, a real fight with both characters maxed out, Pain gets swept. Kakashi has way more tactical skill, tricks and abilities as well as experience.
Pain is the first antagonist in Naruto that introduces the endless steel pipe attack. The otsutsuki god technique which can pin down, stab, and absorb cakra, though it won't work for furious kyubi mode Naruto.
