Great memories of playing this game 2004-2010, arguably my most favorite game ever. Wish Road Rash had a remake with the exact same features and mechanics but just modern graphics. There have been many cool car racing games from NFS series but there has never been a bike racing like Road Rash ever again. And the combat was my fav part beside winning the races.
I grew up playing these games on Sega in the 90s and loved them too. Some of the last games my dad played with me before he just stopped gaming at all. The thing about wanting a modern revival is they already tried doing that sort of thing in the PlayStation era and it didn't really translate. I think it's best left in the past. The magic just wouldn't be there with modern takes on it.
@@darkl3ad3r yeah but there could have been more well developed bike racing games like car racing games, I tried Road Rash jailbreak and was disappointed....
I like this game but I've always hated that you can't "charge" your kick the way you could in the previous two games on Genesis. You could hold down and C to charge your kick and if you timed it right, the guy you're kicking would frameskip off the screen--right to the moon for all I know. Road Rash for the 32bit consoles didn't have this. :(
Yeah, I had to set it to 4:3 resolution before recording the game, otherwise the game would get stretched to 16:10 and wouldn't have the original aspect ratio.
During a race, type "xyzzy" to activate cheat mode. Then type "spoon" and then hold shift and press ! - You will get nitro boost. There are other cheats, google them- you will find some.

The game seems to work on modern operating system without needing any fix. So it should be playable and is worth playing again.

I think f10 or f11. Press those F9,10,11 keys on your keyboard [I dont remember which one] and you can switch the HUD.
