Its ok for a day visit but i would not like to stay there, beach is dirty full of rubbish and cigarette ends ,to rowdy in high season, not very greek, but a 5 mins drive up the behind the resort is 3 beautiful villages, old Hersononisos is full of charm
I have been to all of the towns on the north side of the island and I wouldn’t say that herrsonissos the most beautiful, Chania and Rethymnon is far nicer
Far to commercialised to be anything approaching beautiful. I think Elounda is far better and more beautiful.

I think that happens , but in a small frequency . You can’t understand that is happening 👍
