@@finnvoyager thank you I have a feeling we will I love al the tourist shops looking forward to exploring them do they let you film in them as I’ve not seen videos inside the shops
Very interesting video. I'm 67 and my son (25) decided to buy his dad a week here. I went to Zante in May last year (very quite). I'm going to Crete in May this year and it's very worrying as it appears a place for the young generation. I'm just hoping the sea is warm enough to swim in and the sun is hot enough for a tan. Saving grace is Cyprus in September. Hopefully will come across some oldies like me so I wont feel isolated lol
I think in May there might be also older generetation 😊 It is not the peak season yet. The sea could be chilly then or at least for me (I feel cold extremely easily) but in the sun it should be warm. I recommend you to rent a car and see the island. It is beautiful 😍
Was that row of restaurants on the right (next to beach) always there? I visited there in 1986 as a kid and I remember that walkway being more open & wide. Anybody know?
Thank you for your question. I really don’t know if it has been more open before. This was my first time there. The promenade was full of bars and restaurants 😊
will be going soon
So am I 😆
Thank Your for Info

Walking is too fast for my preference, but Crete is amazing!
In future I am going to walk more slowly 😊👍

ty for your reply. What sort of cost for rental cars and how did you navigate around the Island? @@finnvoyager
@@devonshire5482 I rent the car directly from the hotel. It was around 50 eur per day. I navigated with my iphone navigator.
