I was fortunate to be able to buy one. It truly is glorious. Very responsive with loads of projection and a sheer joy to play. Beautifully made and embellished - the skilled artisans at Bulgheroni have made a lovely instrument with a gorgeous sound... just have to pay for it now!

I'm not surprised it's amazing; they are good at wood instruments. Their oboes are incredible - much warmer and smoother than a French oboe. I haven't gotten to play one of their piccolos. There aren't that many Bulgheroni instruments in the US.
One of my repair friends do NOT like working on them because "their mechanism is built like an oboe." I want to try one of their piccolos. I want to own one of their oboes and English horns.

Where could one purchase this flute? How much do they cost? The is the first time I'm hearing about this brand of flute. I've been lookming for a wood flute. tempted to purchase a Powell. Haven't yet. I'm curious about this one.
