I have this flute, and the way it feels is amazing. The weight is perfect. I paired it with an MX2 headjoint with 14k gold riser. The playing here is very beautiful

Surely not a pinless thumb though? It uses a different type of spring to a normal thumb key, but no thumb keys are ‘pinned’?

He means Broegger thumb I imagine

Yes indeed! The mechanism as a whole is pinless; the thumb key uses a needle spring as opposed to the usual flat spring while the post position is different. This reduces wear and reduces hands fatigue.
