So section 4 was a lot of fun and not all that long mileage wise. I recommend taking your time and enjoying it though rather than rushing through it. I had good conditions but be wary as summer progresses there could be sand issues. Unfortunately I didn't have time to do section 3. I really wanted to, but actual work got in the way. As of the beginning of April there was some snow on a few sections of 3 near Moab, but it should have been possible to bypass those. However its possible some areas could also have bad mud that I didn't explore. Gives me a reason to return some time though.
Wanted you to know how much we appreciate your videos and all the work you've done on them. We've missed you the last couple of months. Hope all is well and keep the shiny side up!
This section of the BDR looks like it was pretty fun and varied. That Wedge Overlook was just spectacular! Definitely going to have to see that next time I'm in that neck of the woods. Great video as always!
If you enjoy the scenic aspect of it thr Wedge is great. Overall the riding was very good and nothing hard during my trip. There was a combination of sandy patches and fast easy riding. The sand was not bad, but I am sure it gets more challenging in other times.
Hi Derek, Fantastic video, I have no idea why you do not have more subscribers? Your content, music and editing are first rate. The mini Grand Canyon looks cool; I'll have to add it to the list. I should be heading out this month for the white rim trail that you did last year on my DR650. Yes, that actual work thing gets in the way but pays the bills. I enjoyed the video, Thank you.
Hey man thanks a lot. I have been thinking about revisiting the White Rim now that I have more experience. I think I would be comfortable doing it in one day now, plus not having luggage would make it even more enjoyable I am sure. Doing it is overnight is cool too and allows it to be more relaxed. Either way you have to make sure to get the permit (day permits are easier to get).
Thanks. It's actually an older DJI Mavic Pro. There are better models out today, but mine shoots 4k resolution. It struggles sometimes with most accurate color/temp which I try to account for in editing, but my color perception isn't best either.
Great video, glad your channel popped up in my feed. What part of the Midwest are you from? I'm a Nebraskan but moved to Colorado in '03 and live in Utah now.
