I was obsessed with this game as a kid. I remember leaving the game on for a while just to hear this song as the inner Sol Sanctum section can go by fast especially once you fetch all the stars and the story progresses.
At this point, I don't care for a sequel to the DS game. I rather Nintendo Remaster the first two games and compile them into a single game. I would seriously purchase both the digital and physical copies of the game to show that I still care for the series. 😭 Imagine this game with graphics of Link's Awakening?!
This theme also became the 2nd Theme of the Mercury Lighthouse after defeating Saturos in the Mercury Lighthouse (which to my opinion is also more suitable as a Mercury Lighthouse Theme than the 1st Theme).
A remaster is basically a polish of graphics and mechanics; If you mean a *remake,* then a lot can happen. An example to pull from would be the original Final Fantasy 7 versus it's *remake.* Food for thought.
Probably a remake would suit it better. But if they were to make it a remake, I'd recommend a revamp of the battle system that would be more realtime and strategic. But anything like dq11 works too.
This feeling of otherwordly power, not meant for the eyes of mortal men, whose very essence is steeped with mystery that the mere thought of it would make any man of clear sanity wonder if this is a power meant to be held by mortal hands. I love the sense of mystery and wonder that this piece has done. Especially if you listened to it for the first time in the game.
All the while, looking at the statues that hold the raw essence of Weyard and wondering... should I defy destiny and release my world from it's long and unnatural slumber?
I absolutely love this. this is my favorite track in VG history. I remember being young and seeing the map to the elemental star location in vale in a Nintendo power magazine, and this track brings the wonder I had back full force. I pray they make another installment.
Be carefull what you wish for, after the desaster that was Dark Dawn i'd rather see a well done remake of the gold games than a new sequel. A remake of The Lost Age with the graphical quality of a modded up FF7 would be something to die for.
Or considering the handhelds like the 3DS, using the Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates engine would be a vast improvement, while still sticking to the roots of a handheld RPG.
The chills... just... won't... stop. If this was your work, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for making this. It's simply *that* good of a rendition and makes my 10 year old self so happy.
