    Adémé détsi/Jute leaves Soup INGREDIENTS
    Chilies (Scotch bonnets)
    Fresh Ginger
    Garden eggs
    Onion
    Garlic
    Mushrooms
    Okro
    Seasonings
    Fresh mackerel fish
    Fresh King prawn
    Koobi (Salted Fish)
HOW TO MAKE Adémé détsi/Jute leaves Soup
Get a pan and start by pre cooking the fish you have. Seafood does not take a long time to cook. Add the prawns here and spice to you liking. Sprinkle in your other flavours you have. Allow the meat to simmer nicely and do not over stir to break the fish.
Blend some of the onions, ginger and garlic and add to the fish. Remember to blend just about half of the vegetables because you are going to chop the rest to the cooking fish.
Whiles the food is on fire, chop the jute leaves nicely and put apart.
For the fresh okro, you can slice some and add to the jute leaves. Keep all aside. Cut into slices the garden eggs and remember to put them into the soup before the okro and jute leaves because the garden eggs take a little longer to cook.
Whiles the soup is cooking, use you beat e.g. your hand to beat it to make it drawy. Add a bit of water or broth to the jute leaves before beating or violently mixing it to bring out the slime in it. Watch the video to see what is done ( • Adémé Soup: How to Mak... ).
Check the soup whiles you beat the jute leaves. Cut the mushrooms and any other stuff you want to add including some Scotch bonnet if you like.
Since you are using fish, by this time, the fish is cooked and soft. I advice you remove the fish from the soup so you can stir the soup well.
Add the jute leaves and and stir well. Do not cover the soup. If you have some prepped palm oil, you can add it to colour it. But here, there no oils .
Taste it for your salt level and this is where you add the fish back if you have taken it out.
Remember not to cover as doing so, will make the soup boil over. Stir just gently. With a little heat extra, the soup is done!
YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IS EATING. LITTLE CHILDREN MAY.
    There!! You are done.
Go on serve thy self! Remember to lick the plate.
    *How to cook the Akplé
Get a nice easy bowl and fetch some maize meal. Add cool water to the maize meal and make a loose porridge from it. Get the hob on and put the porridge on fire. Stir gently, gently till its starts to get thicker. Do not make the hob too hot. Stir gently with a wooden spatula or ladle or spoon.
Keep stirring and neading it nicely (Watch this video)
When it is ready, scoop them into storage bowls, or into plates. You can scoop them into cling films to prevent sticking to each other.
    *Jute Leave is called:
