you should paint a channel logo on the back wall of the bunker on either side of the press, easily visible from camera view...serves as a watermark so people can't easily rip off your videos for youtube shorts monetization.
"two or three viral videos and we get our money back" - much appreciate the honest transparency! I think that you would definitely deal with the weight of tools for the 600t press. I wish you all the best and that in the future you will get the 1000t press that you mentioned in very early videos on the channel. Good luck and keep going.
20:40 wow you definitevely need to stabilize the machine- you can clearly see that there is a gap between the machines left front foot and the floor :O
15:40 teught like a teuger! Not sure how this machine is wired... a friend of mine got an industrial vacuum cleaner of 7,5kW power, where the motor was designed for 400V winding voltage and was wired in delta mode (each winding phase to phase). This was barely fine on fast 32A fuses, but would almost immediately blow the slowest 16A fuses. We wired in a wye/delta starter that allows to spin the motor up in wye mode, or with 230V winding voltage (each winding from phase to neutral), then switch quickly to delta mode for prolonged use. It starts and runs fine on normal 16A fuses with the mod.
It's a safety shovel. When you knock it down, you know you're too close to the door frame. Trust me, it's better to bend your back to lift the shovel a thousand times than to bend the door frame once...
Those magnets are rated differently for different shaped materials. Flat stock might be 250Kilos, but it will be a lot less for a radius. I've used multiple sizes of those magnets for loading and unloading a waterjet.
I love that you guys put in the hard work and labor regardless of your ice palace environment. No excuses. Work hard and work smart. The Fins really are amazing.
Congrats on the new press. Been watching since before red hot steel. 1000 tons press seemed a little steep upgrade, but this is perfect. Keep up the good work.
The short moment of panic and despair when nothing happens when you turn it on before you realize that the main switch isn't on is relatable to anyone who has ever built or upgraded a PC 😅
I had to manually pump hydro fluids into a bucket with one of those small well pumps. I actually felt a bit of relief when I saw it was a hand cranked pump instead of the lever ones. If I ever had to drain a whole drum again and only had one of those lever well pumps, I'd do the hose siphon trick.
0:44 is the moment where you two basically just realised what has been said... I love this sense of humor and that you kept it in the video 😁 by the way because of the roof issue you mentioned at 10:15, how about making a section of the roof being able to be liftet up by the crane itself? it doesn't need to be a swing away lid, just a rectangle section that can be raised via attaching the crane hook and moved to the side to stay on top of the roof? (or you make a "sliding roof section" in your plans to simply be able to roll a part of the roof to the side on some tracks, so you don't lose any strength in your structure itself) the other option would only be to have a hydraulic scissor lifting table with a lifting capacity large enough to raise the tools made to the needed level (in case your entry door is smooth without any obstacles to be driven over)
it's probably too late now, but make sure you can drive your hydraulic pallet jack into the bunker, and make a raised platform that you can put on it and roll the tools in and out via that, instead of always using the overhead crane.
I just thought of a couple of items worth testing out on your new press. First would be a common two slice toaster, toasting bread and working.. second thought would be a four cycle gasoline engine light for a lawnmower or a pump running in crush it while it’s running very exciting May be an electric fan, running with air being blown vertically just a thought
Don’t try this at home, I’m a professional…. I wonder how many homes have a 300T press 🤔🤔 That’s what I love about this channel. I can watch the results of “so many stupid things” (@22:36) that I’d definitely do if my house came with a 300T press (or 3φ 400AVC). I really enjoy your videos.

I've seen steel saws like the one at 6:00 before, but this one ... what path does the band saw blade take in the loop? Does it spiral up to the top and then spiral back down to the cutting area?
I've always wondered what you do with the presses when you're not destroying objects. What are the uses for a hydraulic press? Pardon me ignorance. You were driving a Tesla in one video?
I never knew AR 500 was the same thing as hardox, I've messed up drilling through hardox and then it work hardens and it's ruined, would love to see if the new press can crush it or something Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱❤🇫🇮
Ambiguous jokes in the right environment are ok; after all, it's not a kindergarten channel! 😁 - However, I really like Hanna.... she has something of "Harley Quinn" in her; cute and unpredictable at the same time. 💣☺❤
I have two of those crank style pumps at work, one is for engine oil and one is for hydraulic oil. Mine were the absolute cheapest available from Harbor Freight tools, and when I bought them, I immediately took them apart and fixed the imperfections. Mostly, I smoothed the really bad machining on the inside surfaces. Doing this made them much easier to operate. Better quality ones wouldn't have needed this extra work. But I've used the hydraulic one for changing all the hydraulic fluid in a large wheel loader, which required most of a drum of fluid, and let me tell you, while it doesn't require a lot of force to operate, you do need endurance. Nice that you could switch spots with Hanna now and then to do it. But those pumps really do work nicely for this.
if you want to pick something up in the middle with a lifting strap. Pull the lifting strap once to both ends and it will be easier to see whether it is in the middle.

I think I've seen you knock over that shovel 3 times over several years. Is that the best spot for it?
If you want to knock it over then yes….

15:12 timing the hand pumping shows how effective it is. Batteries and power are susceptible to not being available.

Looking good! Yeah you can get slow blow fuses that will handle the start up surge. The bunker will be nice when done!
2:08 it looks like it needs to be just a little to the right (from the camera perspective)
hahahaha
Haha, yes of course Lauri, we all have 400V 60A 3ph outlets in every room. I do have access to 240V (2 phases of 120) at 50A in the garage.
It is called a Pallet Jack. You guys are so funny. I laugh every time I watch you.
The breaker on the 63A socket is to protect the cable, not the machine, so it's only sort of safe

Best electrician ever!
Don't leave hydraulic hoses resting against the wall top edge. Vibrations and flexing will slowly churn the hose until the hose fails.
Technotronic - Pump up the jam
You could use cordless drill to turn the pump for you just in case you ever have to drain and refill the press

On that barrel pump, you could remove the handle and attach a power drill to the shaft of the pump to make it easier to pump that much FRH.

Why not store tools under the press "table" and just rig small, detachable winch at press frame to pull them up in place when needed?
May I ask what camera/phone you record this on? And how many fps?
We have two Sony Fx 3 and one sony Fx 30
