Hi ive tried omnibus f4 v1 and 2 f4 v3s and get the runtime calibration red x and it never goes away looked like a nice system but either ive had 3 bad boards or something else is off and ive now watched every vid i can find and read the wiki and no answer so i guess its back to vector
My furious f35 is mounted in a Mini Drak wing. The controller is not mounted level. The front of the controller is pointed down at 7 degrees. I adjusted pitch to negative 7 degrees then ran calibration. It now shows the wing sitting level in inav. Was I correct with doing the calibration like I did? Just want to make sure before I maiden. Thank you
Improved procedure with check Ticks....The old method could be confusing for some, well done. Im still wondering why its not done like Betaflight though, which is really easy?
BF does not need accelerometer. And even if uses it for Angle or Horizon, simple 1 step calibration is enough. But in INAV accelerometer is used for position estimation in all axises, not only to find out where down is. As for that FC has to know exacly acceleration is all direction, not only "down"
Hi love your tutorials you fixed my mag last week and my app which was minimised last week ! No my mag cslabration and my acell calibration buton has greyed out and can’t cabrate is there a fix ?
HI Pawel, Great tuto once again ! you gave me a good hint with the minimised Inav... This time though... About acc cal... mine will not record the first (acc on top) position... this means my drone refuses to arm the motors and the issu shown in log is accelerometer uncalibrated... I do save and reboot but instead of showing the check mark ( as it does on any other axis) the square is grayed out after calibration attempt... I do not move and have the drone shimed perfectly level untouched....
Calibration is easy to do with precision when you have the FC out of the wing, but when you have already installed it,.. is it mandatory to be perfectly leveled in positions? Thanks for your videos Pawel, you're very didactic and clear. Regards
hi, how often I have to calibrate the accelerometer?
That will be great help to Most....BUT should the Cal. be done before or after your board orientation ?
i cant able to calibrate after first time of calibration ... how to re-calibrate accelerometer calibration ?
Perfect. If the board orientation in the plane is not standard; should the steps be the same?
Only first step has to be done with FC facing UP. For everything else, order is not important. You are calibrating FC, not airplane
Paweł Spychalski thanks
So if I am understanding correctly I can calibrate first and then change board orientation and this will be fine?
Yes. You are calibrating accelerometer, not whole UAV
Paweł Spychalski thank you. Can’t wait for the update. And subscribed.
Do we simply just hold the model with FC in our hand to perform the calibration for each orientation?

This will be much more positive than the previous method although it always worked for me
Hi I have one quadcopter what firmware to use inav 1.9
1.9 rc1
1.9 rc2 ???

You are calibrating accelerometer, not model. So FC should be flat. But it should works either way
Very good. Would you do a video on iNav and sonar please?
Northern Flyer that planned. Not sure when
Hey the fc need stable for calibration accel ;

which version of inav? old one had a bug
Hi I fixed this by reflashing thankyou
I have another problem with my gps it’s working and I’m getting messages but I can never get a 3 d fix and when I do it’s never above 4 satalites
Thank you so mutch for your tutorials.

Ok by some turn of fate... I re calibrated finishing with top up first and worked fine...yippee!!

same issue here mine is way down in my plane, on it's side tilted.
hi im thomas i doing callibrate accel... and my value is 4000
is wrong??? pls tell me .... thanks ..
just do it in acareful way and should work
Man you guy's are doing some great work. Thank you and keep it up.
When is the next iNav version going to be released?
In Ferbruary. RC probably quite soon, final probably at the end of February
Czy mogę prosić o pomoc konfiguracji samolotu z ogonem w układzie v . Dopiero raczkuje w modelarstwo. Z gory dziękuję za pomoc.
Na Wiki na GitHub INAVa są przykłady miksera dla układu V. Trzeba tylko poszukać
tHXS!
Great work, love new releases 😋
the calibration is still crap....2 of the positions are not recognized...as first step it recognize step 5 instead of 1
3 years later still crap!
ok thank you very much!!!!
hi i work quad i try again and my value :
y 4102
z4096
x4001
Greek Diy Drones then maybe they are correct
i have cc3d revo f4
it does not matter. Just do it step by step and should be fine
Ciao Pawel!
Perfekt!!
