One of the things I’ve done is started to craft. I’ve learned to sew, bookmake, paint, draw, art journal and junk journal! And let me tell you, it has totally taken the place of my desire to watch time wasting movies and tv shows … idk the last time I’ve watched something that wasn’t in line with God or a sermon, honestly. For me, having various creative hobby has truly made real changes for me when it comes to removing idle, fruitless things. Shockingly, I’ve even learned MORE about how creative our father is bc of it. Creating helps me connect with God on a level that was NOT on my bingo card lol It’s a beautiful thing for me. While art may not be your interest - consider other hobbies! It truly does add a sense of joy and you could further your intimacy with God there! It sure does beat wasting away watching the tel- a lie- vision or listening songs that are like sorcery and witchcraft.
