I remember buying a used Carver Mayhem Cx for 50 bucks. My first carving pump on it was trippy and fun, I was addicted. You get hooked on the side to side motion no doubt. My Mayhem board is now hung on my wall but I'm still using the trucks on a Taylor Knox deck. I'm retiring soon, that means more time on my Carver 🔱
the Carver boards I have tried were extremely squirely at high speed. Not for vert skating. I think this is a flatground thing which I have no interest in.
I think you can adjust the tension on the front truck to suit your needs, but agreed that if you are not carefull it can trow you off. Also the carver is better suited for wave like ramps and down hill manouvering.
Thanks a lot for the interview. Very inspiring
Thanks for the interview with the pioneer of surfskate ❤
You go it! we had so much fn doing it!
Great interview! Surf skate is two worlds at the same time!
To me surf skate started in the 60's all through the 70's. Tony Alva, Jay boy.... etc.
Carver made it possible for everyone
