Great song! Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer songwriter from the 80's-90's. He is known for his ballads & he has a unique raspy voice. Bryan has had so many hits such as "Summer Of '69", "Cuts Like A Knife", "Straight From The Heart", "Everything I Do", "Run To You", "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", "Thought I'd Died & Gone To Heaven", "Please Forgive Me", "All For Love" etc. He has won a lot of awards for his music.
This is the list, I was going to post the same thing. No reason to do it twice. My favorite is everything I do I do for you. Been divorced for 19 years and that one still gets me every single time. Sometimes everything isn't enough.
He definitely has a great raspy ballad voice. One of my favorites.

Bryan Adams is 64 yrs old and still records & tours, even though he's not the superstar he once was in the 80's and 90's... I saw him live co-headline w/ Def Leppard in 2005... In fact, he's touring the UK in May/ June 2024

Hahahahahahaha..."I scream like a fangirl". We all scream like a fangirl in the 80a and 90s for him too. It's just your time now. Nothing really beat the 80s when comes to great music. It's why I love Gigi de Lana from the Philippines so much today. She takes us back to the 80s with her golden tone and super model looks.

I was a teenager all through the 80s (born in 1970) and Bryan Adams was the slow dance king! For those of us whom fast dancing made us too self conscious, Bryan, Chicago, Journey, or a slow Foreigner song would come to the rescue, so we could ask a girl at the all night skate (skating rinks would, on holiday weekends stay open all night Friday night and the skating would stop at 10 pm and turn into a dance all night. Parents would drop their teens off at 7pm after dinner and pick them up the next morning for breakfast. Bryan was in the top 10 of most top ten hits through the 80s.

Millie, I started listening to Bryan in 1983 and of course he blew up so big that I got kind of tired of listening to him, but I still bought his albums and listened. 😂 Then Bryan released the album 18 Til I Die in 1996 and it was a little more rockin’ with some excellent fun songs, “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You”, and “I Want to Be Your Underwear”, 😂. The height of Bryan’s “celebrity” had passed, but not Bryan’s abilities as a musician and songwriter. Then in 1998 Bryan released the album On A Day Like Today. On this album was the song “Where Angels Fear To Tread”. I personally believe that this is Bryan’s BEST BALLAD EVER! I don’t care if you do a channel reaction to it, but please just listen to and enjoy a MASTERPIECE written by Bryan Adams and Gretchen Peters.

I love Bryan Adams. Saw him live in Barcelona in '88, he was mostly unknown and there weren't many people at the concert. Some of my friends even walked right to the edge of the stage and shook his hand. It was the Into the Fire tour. Take a listen to Reckless, an amazing album.

These are late 70s but I think you would like them. My 3 fave Jefferson Starship songs, Miracles, Count on Me, With Your Love. These are all Marty Balin on lead vocal. He actually started the group. Grace came later with trouble.

Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Originally released in 1983. Released again, in 1984, on the album Reckless. 40 years. This song and the original version of Obsession were the highlights of the B movie A Night in Heaven. 2 years before this was released, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote Stay for fellow Canadian band Prism. That song led to Heaven. Same key!
True story. Mickey Curry, who left Hall and Oates to join BA, could not make the recording session due to a prior contract requiring him to play for another musician. Steve Smith , then of Journey, came into play. Compare this to the song Faithfully, which Journey played. Very similar! And BA was the opening act for Journey that year!
Engineer Bob Clearmountain worked with BA in 1983 for the album Cuts Like a Knife and with the late David Bowie, RIP, for Let's Dance. Rob Sabino played keyboards for him. RS and BC worked on this song and. Now RS is a lecturer in music at UC Davis.
In an interview, BA wanted Nile Rodgers, who co produced Let's Dance, to produce Reckless. Listen to the Apple podcast for details.
There are really 2 eras for Bryan Adams: up to 1991 and 1991 onward. Mutt Lange changed everything in 1991 for BA.

It is funny you say he looks like the kid from Back to the Future. They're both Canadians from the 1980s LOL. BTW if you like Michael J Fox, you need to see some of his other films like Teen Wolf, which in my opinion has a stronger 80s vibe and more music than most films from that era, and I know that's something you are into.
The guitarist is Keith Scott, who is one of the most under rated players of all time. The album was produced by Mutt Lange, who also produced Def Leopard, Foreigner, AC/DC, and Shania Twain who he was once married to. Mutt is known for his usage of heavy drumming in a 4/4 tempo. Here is a drum cam video of Twain's best drummer she ever had.(2015-2022) Perfect power pocket drumming with impeccable skills. Elia Wood was voted pop/country drummer of the yr in 2023, yet E is actually a prog rock drummer, who loved putting her spin on Twain's 4/4 stuff. It's worth making a dive into her videos. A good reactor will pause the song about halfway thru and give their assessment then let the song finish and finish their reaction after the song is over. 1.NEVER talk over the song. 2.NEVER pause it during a great lead guitar solo. Those are rules most reactors just automatically follow. To much pausing and especially talking over the song will cause less people to subscribe to the channel. Isn’t the whole point to get subscribers? Just saying. They are reacting and giving their opinion of the song, movie, or whatever. Well we as subscribers are also giving our honest reaction to their reaction.
