Border View Farms is a mid-sized family farm that sits on the Ohio-Michigan border. My name is Nathan. I make and edit all of the videos posted here. I farm with my dad, Mark and uncle, Phil. Our part-time employee, Brock, also helps with the filming. 1980 was our first year in Waldron where our main farm is now. Since then we have grown the operation from just a couple hundred acres to over 3,000. Watch my 500th video for a history of our farm I filmed with my dad.
I started making these videos in the fall of 2019 as a way to help show what I do on a daily basis as a farmer. Agriculture is different from any other industry and I believe the more people that are showing their small piece of agriculture, helps to build our story. We face unique challenges and stressful situations but have some of the most rewarding payoffs in the end. I get to spend everyday doing what I love, raising my kids on the farm, and trying to push our farm to be better every year. I hope that I can address questions or concerns that you might have about farms and agriculture.
I hope you enjoy my content and ask questions as you have them. I do my best to answer anything I can. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate you subscribing to my channel and liking my videos. You can also find me on Facebook borderviewfarms and on Instagram @borderviewfarms

So, are we becoming the Brock mystery channel? Ooooh the suspense!
Great video. Yep, exciting to be rolling.
Sure wish my body was better
Miss these days, it was my dream to help someone like you in my retirement.
Good luck and stay safe.
Brock,Brock ,Brock farming comes first , women can wait.Come on Man!
i just drive straight through the roundabouts
Bruh be nice to Brock. Brock is young and he is learning well he knows how to help. Be thankful that you have Brock. Treat others as you would want to be treated. I know it’s for likes etc and yeah I understand. I know you are thankful for him as he is great people. Keep up that great 2023 harvest. Much love from the Texas Clan!!!
Its all harmless fun , I actualy enjoy the back and forths between them. I remember when Nathan had way under 100 vids( joined at vid 30, watched all 30 vids in 1 big binge) and I am here to tell ya some of those shop vids were kinda drab No offense intended there, I watched them all and have yet to miss any, but be honest 1 man can only make changing oil so entertaining. Brock is a vital part here even if at times his only part is a playful "criticism".from the boss . He certainly livens the winter vids up a lot.
Brock is a minion and should be treated as such.
Great video Nathan, shame shame Brock😂 you’re gonna have to set her straight young man👋🏼y’all stay safe and keep crushin it 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Good video good to see y'all
Your views never get old. Keep them coming!!!
Good Morning!
"Too close Brock, get back."
Yeah! Brock cam video.
Great video. I like that Agrimatic Lybra system, that is cool.
Good neighbor so far, no angry Karen’s living there so far. Good morning from north, Iowa.
Good Morning
Brock really good.☘️🇮🇪🌽🌽🌽🙏🏻
Good morning
Harvest 23 off to a great start, on to Waldron.
Great work and videos by the way.
Because you’ve got automation activation you should update your combine display software. They have added turn automation on combines.
Great Brock content - can we have more??
If i lived in one of those houses, i would be out watching in a big way, they do not know what they are missing!!
South Western Seward county Nebraska i have dryland beans running 14 bushel acre. Drought year in irrigated beans we got white mold bad upper 50's to low 60's. Thats 10-20 bushel off normal.
Seen at end of video a dartball board we have a league of 17 teams in southern Indiana
Local town near me put a roundabout in and put the signs right off the road to they replace the signs twice a year cause someone always hits and knocks them over or bends them up good! Don’t understand why all these farming communities don’t think of farm equipment when they build the stupid things!
So do you have compaction every year then..
Bike lanes and roundabouts. Is this Europe or what?? 😂😉
Good to see great beans, do you have an entry for years contest for beams back at home ? Hope you had a good time Brock 👍
I do and am wondering g I'd it was a mis5not having it there
I can’t English lol
Sorry typing in the combine without proofreading. I do and I'm wondering if it was a mistake not having the entry at Berkey
Years ago our neighbor was running soybeans next to a housing development a lady was washing her windows. After the first round she started over, she kept going until the third round she threw her cloth on the the ground and went inside.
Great video, really enjoyed it.
I've been waiting for you to go around the roundabout, yeah it's way to narrow.
What where they thinking
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How many acres do you farm?
❤ Hey Nathan, you guys are a WELL OILED MACHINE, I see Brock is the Comic Relief early in the episode of this video 😁. C'mon Nathan, just monster truck over the combine over the middle of the round a bout 🤣😂🤣 , you guys are HILARIOUS TOGETHER, always something, HUH 😂, LOVE these videos, Yes, those road development department GUYS are NOT careful about cleaning up their messes, don't Care if they could of possibly left something in the field, they don't understand how much it could tear your equipment up, it's not there's, Glad it wasn't something that would tear up that AWESOME combine,, You LOVE that tractor, it's really funny to listen to you, but I don't get tired of hearing it, pretty funny 🤣😂. CYA NEXT TIME 🚜🚜😎🌞👍
The X 9’s are having big problems with plugging the chopper this year. Not very good for such a big expensive combine.
Hi. Does the white mold get to the beans, or is it just attacking and killing the plant? I guess moldy beans would be a bad thing.
It kills the plant prematurely and stops the beans from developing
youd think with all the money you spend on a combine one of these dagone companies would come up with a hydraulic or linear actuator powerd rock trap so you dont gotta get under the dang thing
If they don't like the dust they should move
Funny, I watch @6thGenFarmer, and he just got your old scale system. Wonder when he will lose data?
Nathan, wouldn’t it be better to trailer your tractors to Berkey?
No, it would take 3-4 time longer
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
