People are to focused on looks and not looking at the reality of things, for starters the new PlayStation gives you the choice of buying a disc drive and easily installing it. thats 1, it has another usb C in the front. that's 2, the other issue is that the 1200 model has the battery underneath the copper heatsink and this one has it where its easier to reach and maintain. Thats 3, The slim models of every console are always better than the original its not a opinion its a fact! The original consoles end up having problems regardless of how well is maintained taken care of.

How would you compare the sound on the slim to the og?
I picked up a slim, my first ps5 and I feel it’s a bit loud almost makes a buzzing noise ):
I did exchange it and it’s a bit quieter but I still feel its making this “buzzing” noise during games.

@@Brani it’s probably just me being sensitive to the sound then, it sounds identical to a friends ps5 but my pc is definitely quieter and that’s what I was comparing to
Common man. You know you either have a problem or have become a collector when you go out to buy a ps5 slim whwn you already own a digital ps5 and a standard ps5 that just needs to be cleaned out. Not to mention the 3 xbox series consoles
It’s having Ethernet issues as well I plugged the Ethernet cable on the new ps5 and it’s working fine
