if i ever have the means to put something like this together, i'll have an enclosed bar with a side entrance, in a darkened, black room, with an 8' pool table and a huge projection system/home theater and wood burning fireplace.
by my calculations, it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of a 29' by 46' room, which includes a good 9' of bar setback and bathroom behind the home theater.
bunch of different varieties of johnnie walker, and neon beer signs of corona, negro modelo, newcastle ale, heineken, steinlager and even budweiser.
bar will have two sets of lit up shelves to display the many different choices of adult beverages, plus a mirror, so i can smile at my favorite multi-millionaire.

Every one of these "Men" make the exact same mistake. They build a BAR that they themselves must stand behind in order to serve drinks. Did you have some hourly wage bartending fantasy as a boy? Build the bar into the room so that EVERYONE can serve themselves. I have done several of these. It invites everyone to join you in the experience, rather than have YOU with a smelly bar rag in your hand... Duh.
