I think it's a big positive that you use the same patterns. Makes it affordable and sustainable. You have great style so they all look terrific on you.
Yes I agree, there’s nothing better than making something you know will fit in a new fabric, for me it takes all the jeopardy out of it!! 🥰😂. Thank you. x
I absolutely love the look of green mesh Naya-T over the black cami. And because of you I now have an obsession with the Pamona Pants! Brilliant design. Fun and satisfying to make too. You keep doing you Sarah. We love it.
Sign of a great pattern if you want to make it over and over, much better than spending £16 on one pattern plus all the fabric etc and ending up with a garment that has cost more than you could buy it for.
Oooh! I love your pebble fabric and your make for that. I read an article in ELLE that everyone is wearing pj's "al-fresco". 😜 I have your prize fabric and I used it to make a Toaster Sweater (as it is simple pattern and can show off the fabric). As usual all your makes are gorg.😍😘
Thank you! Yes I think it’s absolutely fine to go out in PJ’s 😂. Just as long as you don’t wear them with your slippers I reckon 😂😂😂. That prize fabric is so lovely isn’t it? Great idea to make the toaster sweater. xx
Love the lounge set and the pjs. Can I ask if you cut the same size in double gauze as you do in knit or do you go up a size as there's no stretch. I just cut out a naya in double gauze and I can't get it on 😢. Xx
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that, what a shame, that’s so frustrating. I don’t go up as size because id already cut the Naya oversized as I wanted it larger in the jersey. Usually when going from a knit to a woven it’s a good idea to size up though. Is there any way of saving it? xx
Thank you! It doesn’t fray. So it’s just been left as raw seams but equally I could have overlocker them. I like the Naya because it finishes the sleeve nicely with the sleeve bands.
You may be a serial pattern user but how different do they all look , honestly they are all gorgeous but I especially love the mesh one who would think that mesh can look so stylish.
I think you have persuaded me on the Naya Tee, the pebble fabric has been Frankie T for several years and mannequin fabric has been a lengthened Frankie T into a nightie. I guess I’ll have to go to the Rag Market to track down your mesh fabric. Cheers.
Hi. I’m hoping that she still has some and wasn’t just selling it off!! She is the lady who is sort of towards the bottom end of the rag market from where you come in, about half way along. She sells lots of zips outside her stall and many other bits of haberdashery inside the stall. It’s quite a big stall which you can walk into if that makes sense?!! Hope that helps!
Hi Sarah you've inspired me to make the Naya tshirt but I did it with double gauze. The neck is quite large - would you suggest the hack you do to make it smaller? Also do you cut your neck band on the bias when not using a stretch fabric? Hope you don't mind the questions - I love your vlogs and you have given me so much inspiration. Thanks Andrea x
Hi thank you!!! I don’t mind the questions at all! When you say the hack that I did, do you mean the one which is cut straight across and folded over? If it’s in a woven fabric then it will need to be overlocked before folding in and you can then make it as narrow or wide as you like by sewing in across the neckline if that makes sense? I usually sew 20cm in from the edge towards the neck hole. I haven’t actually used a woven neckband, I’m wearing my kangaroo double gauze pyjamas as I type this 😂 and they have a ribbed neckband. I’m sorry if none of this makes sense! 🤦♀️😂
@sewsarahstyle thank you for getting back to me - I made kangaroo pj's as well but it was the neck I got in a muddle with but when I watched your video again I saw you did a ribbed neckband, which I didn't so the neck is a bit big. I'm going to make some more in double gauze and try the folded neck on the pattern and also a pair with a ribbed neck. After thar I'm making derwent trousers - thank you for all the inspiration x
@@andreaneath9882ah you’re very welcome!! I hope that the next one turns out well and you enjoy the Derwents!! They’re such an easy trouser to whip up and to wear, love em!!! ❤
Ah yes well spotted!! 🫣😂. I have fallen behind with them as I have had a lot going on here which is also why I’m making the more simple patterns etc. I absolutely love the closet core releases though and am keen to get them made up. It’s frustrating I haven’t managed one each month as planned. Watch this space though they will be coming! 😂🥰. Thank you! ☺️
Love love love 😍🤩
Thank you!! ☺️
I love the Kangaroo pyjamas. Reusing patterns many times makes good sense.
Thank you, they are a bit of fun! 😃
I think it's a big positive that you use the same patterns. Makes it affordable and sustainable. You have great style so they all look terrific on you.
Ah thank you!! Yes I like that the same patterns can either be hacked or made from different fabrics to switch it up a bit! 😊
Great makes especially love the kangaroo PJs. I live in Australia 😅
Ah lucky you!! Such a fab country 🦘❤️
I think your makes are lovely. I make things that I’m going to wear and fit my lifestyle. Using patterns multiple times must surely be a good thing!
Yes I agree, there’s nothing better than making something you know will fit in a new fabric, for me it takes all the jeopardy out of it!! 🥰😂. Thank you. x
Great video
Thank you!! ☺️
Actually love the naya neck hack. I’m all for comfortable lounge wear and love all your makes x
Ah thanks so much!! It’s such an easy cheat hack! 😂
Just love the Derwent and Naya, I’m not bored of seeing more 😂
😂 that’s good news!! Thank you, it’s such a good combination isn’t it?!! 🥰
Love it all! Those fabrics although different all worked perfect for the patterns.
Thank you!! ☺️

🥰 thank you so much! the pomonas are a great pattern aren’t they? Sorry / not sorry for passing on my obsession 🫣🥰😂
The kangaroo pj is wonderful! Your ideas are so clever and stylish…
Thank you, I do love a bit of double gauze for pyjamas 🦘 😊
From an Aussie, I love your kangaroo pjs.
😂 thank you so much, I’ve literally just ordered some more in a navy background to make some winter ones 😂
@sewsarahstyle I really love the green mesh top too. It made me think about some mesh I have in my stash that I don't know how to use
Sew for your lifestyle, thats really important. Great makes😊
Yes thank you, I don’t like making things and then having them sat in my wardrobe.
I love your makes and style. 🙌❤️
Thank you!! ☺️
Amazing as always and u always look so stylish ❤
Ah thanks Cara!! Looking forward to seeing your mesh top! ❤️
I, too, have made great Night Shirts out of easy blouse patterns. Great idea since I am very particular about the fabric I sleep in.
Ah yes that’s a good idea! It’s good to be able to choose the fabric and patterns for the perfect nightwear. 🥰
Great outfits as usual 👍👍👍
Thank you! 😊
Great vlog as always love your Naya T,s will have to look out the pattern ❤❤❤
Thank you!! It’s a winner pattern and can be hacked and used in all fabrics, nothing not to love there! ❤️
Lovely pyjamas lounge wear and naya tees also love the mesh and kangaroos x I hope they don’t jump about in the night 😮
So far so well behaved! 🦘👀😂
Love the Derwent trousers, I’m on my fourth pair now. Your pjs look so comfy x
Ah yes they are so easy and comfortable, I love them and don’t actually miss the pockets!
Found it!
Happy sewing!!
Love the mesh tops, I’m going to have to get a hold of some😊.
Yes, it’s definitely worth looking out for as it’s a bit different I think! 🥰
Always enjoy your videos, not bored🤓at all!
Ah thank you so much!!! 😊
Sign of a great pattern if you want to make it over and over, much better than spending £16 on one pattern plus all the fabric etc and ending up with a garment that has cost more than you could buy it for.
I agree! There’s nothing worse than an expensive pattern which you don’t like once made up! 🤦♀️
Keep forgetting I have the book with the derwent trouser pattern must get it out thanks Sara another great vlog ❤😊
Ooh yes get on making them, you won’t regret it!! Thank you. ❤️
❤❤❤

I like all of them! ❤ Good idea on the simple hack of the Naya! How did you finish the mesh one?
Thank you! It doesn’t fray. So it’s just been left as raw seams but equally I could have overlocker them. I like the Naya because it finishes the sleeve nicely with the sleeve bands.
@@sewsarahstyle I get nervous about not finishing the seams, but I’ll start doing it. Thank you for answering.

🫣 sorry!!! 😂. They did have a few different mesh fabrics when I was there but there’s never a guarantee! The Naya won’t let you down though!! 🥰

Hi. I’m hoping that she still has some and wasn’t just selling it off!! She is the lady who is sort of towards the bottom end of the rag market from where you come in, about half way along.
