The cafes just draw you in and seduce you with the warmth of history. Did you get to visit Amélie's cafe (Cafe des Deux Moulins) while you were in Montmatre, it's still exactly like it was in the film (at least on my last visit in 2019). Your video is a joyous watch (and far too short)
@@thespicester thanks so much for your nice comment! we did walk in briefly, but it was late at night, and they were blasting Justin Bieber over the speakers..kind of killed the vibe. 😆 It looked like it would be an awesome place to visit during the day, and still looks just like the movie! We’ve been meaning to rewatch Amelie since being home, since a lot of it was filmed in Montmartre. 🥰
@@TheEvergreens Yup, I can imagine how Justin would take the shine off 8-) Amelie is a great film, I hope you rewatch it soon and revel in the warmth it oozes (especially as you are now au fait with this magical area)
So , I must go with favorites! French chocolate, Le Rouquet, and those exhausting steps …..leading to magnificent views! I could sit for hours in that cabaret with wine flowing 😉 Oh , and the red lipstick application …..tres chic💋
It would be amazing to get to spend a few days there. We were absolutely mesmerized by their talents! And each artist had their own unique style. So amazing.
Hahaha, good one :) But yes, it was a really cool experience. Much better to find something local than to hit up a more touristy spot like Moulin Rouge.
Wonderful visit of Paris. The Little cafes are nice with the gorgeous flowers everywhere. The food looks yummy as usual. The cabaret sound fun also. 👌See you next time. Anne & Eric
If you're still in Paris you two would love Giverny - Monet's adorable colorful house with fab (famous) gardens and exquisite interiors and wonderful Japanese paintings Monet collected inside too. It's a short 40-mile train trip through the countryside. Love your music. Thanks for making and sharing it. Have fun, safe travels.
Hey Tommy! We are sadly back in the states already but that sounds absolutely amazing! We will definitely add it to our list of places to check out next time we are in Paris. Thanks for the suggestion!!
We stayed right across the street from Cafe de Flore and had no problem getting in for breakfast there. Of course at that time in the morning, no one else was around. Awesome video. Merci!
Thanks for watching and commenting, Terri! ❤️ We agree, first thing in the morning would definitely be the time to visit Cafe de Flore...we didn't pass it until about noon (which explains the lines). Hope you guys are well!!
I absolutely love watching your adventures they are so interesting. I love how I learn something new in each video lol. Look forward to many more!...p.s..you guys find the best darn places to eat!!!
Love your videos. Found you are I was researching the train from London to Paris. Taking my son to London then Paris in late March for his 12th birthday. If you happen to know any kid friendly idea in both places outside of what you shared (as I feel some of what you shared my son would really love), I’d really appreciate it. 😊
Loved the Paris vlogs! Dyeing to head back there soon and this time with our kids! Looks like y’all had an incredible time. Can’t wait to see the next country!
@@TheEvergreens just got off the phone with a Disneyland Paris travel agent so it’s all happening! Paris trip will look a little different with kids this time but still going to make a full week of Paris city life happen before we do the family Disney thing. I can’t wait to add that cute cafe to our list!
I was surprised you didn't go to Père-Lachaise Cemetary in Montmartre, it's so fascinating. Montmartre was my favorite section of Paris when we were there a few years ago. I loved Paris in general :)
I remember my first time driving in Paris around the Arc , I asked how to tackle it and was told by my French companion to just head in the direction I wanted to go and not to give way . That was a hair raising experience.
Thanks so much, Darcy! We usually just go a ton of research ahead of time. Either by searching on instagram, other youtube vlogs or google searches we find all of our ideas on what we want to do and where we want to stay. We have a few main vloggers that we always watch to get ideas (Flying the Nest, Endless Adventure, Kara & Nate, Eileen Aldis to name a few). Hope this helps!
Hello, just stumbled across your vlog and have subscribed because you seem such nice people. I am , however, puzzled by your Montmartre video: you don't mention the swarms of street-peddlers pushing all kinds of cheap crap. Were you magically saved from this, or is this your contribution to "diversity" by not mentioning it ? If the latter, 50 demerits.
Thanks for watching our latest Paris vlog! What was your favorite part of the sights in Montmartre?

Great ! Just a great glimpse of our Montmartre ! Thank you ladies, come back soon ! -Rick&Morgan (artists)
Thank you Rick and Morgan! It means so much to us to hear positive feedback from locals. We hope to visit again soon!
This brings back beautiful memories for me ❤️
So glad we were able to help bring back some memories for you!
I'd love to spend days just watching the artists. Fascinating.

That cabaret was really neat. I can’t believe it’s been around since 1860, the singer’s didn’t look a day or 50! Har har har. 😊❤️

love the sinking house..... we were there about 18 years ago and didn't know about it...
We probably would've missed it too if we didn't read about it ahead of time! Definitely a cool picture spot!
Great fun video! Would love to see the full video of your La Vie En Rose...
Thank you so much! We posted a longer version on our instagram account if you find us on there! @theevergreensmusic
I hope you made a wish every time you entered a church for the first time!!! 🥰
Didn't know that was a thing!
my favourite place when I go to Paris ...no other place better in Paris to live, work, drink or eat ..❤
Yes! 🧀🍷🎨

We read about that but ran out of time on this trip :) So much to see...so little time!
@@TheEvergreens Absolutely! I want to go back someday, I never even made it to the Louvre. I think you need a month just to see the Louvre.
Some potential back up musicians there i see :)

Aloette (spelling!) a song we used to sing at primary school in the UK
So cool!!
That would be "Alouette " ! (lark )
Jealous of the cheese.
I was jealous of our former selves too while editing this video. 😭 🧀
Is it chilly there? I noticed you’re wearing jackets.
Hi Marilynn! We were actually there in May, we are just releasing one video from our trip per week. I'm sure it's nice and warm now :)

We noticed it in certain areas but not enough to mention. Sorry for the delayed response!
