The reading for the broom really rings true for me and does offer some hope. I'm currently a manager/lead at a cafe, but I will be leaving to pursue my PhD (Tower and Snake about knowledge, maybe?). Fortunately I don't need to hide this from the owner, but I will need to do all the bureaucratic steps of university as well as moving locations to wherever I get accepted.
