Thank you for sharing that beautiful video with us. What a wonderful area to be in, and no one else seemed to be around. I enjoyed the footage of the loch and the rivers, especially the waterfalls and the cascades. I could almost feel the cool water. When I am in the wilderness areas, I don't expect to hear helicopters, planes or jets go over, and for me it takes away from the experience, because I go there to get away from the noises of civilization--I guess it reminds us that we can't really escape it totally.

There was a few people around by the river near the car park when we first arrived but by the time we returned to the car park everyone else had left. After crossing the first bridge we passed only 4 couples during the walk . We spent about 4hrs walking here and it was just blissful. Thankfully the jets were gone in a flash but it did disturb the peace for a short while! However a dog that one of the couples had with them was much worse ....... there I was by that little lochan sitting with my sound recorder trying to capture the birdsong when they came along talking loudley and the dog kept barking !!!!! So I gave up on it. Glen Affric is a really wonderful place to escape to , there are so many other areas to explore . Hopefully God willing I will visit and share more of this beautiful Glen and its waterfalls on another holiday. Thank you for watching and sorry for the late reply I have had a very busy day :D Teddy

I was so pleased I was videoing at the point the jets turned up :D I remember many years ago now (in the days of only film cameras ) we were down by Loch Quoich when the jets went by and they were so low we were actually level with the pilots as they passed. I got some photos of them but they are on some slides somewhere in the wardrobe! I might try and get them out at some point to have a look and see if I can copy them to share? I wish I lived closer to this wonderful place, I live in Yorkshire. It is around a 9 hr drive to this area from where I live ..... So I can only visit when I am on holiday in Scotland.
