"White nectarine" - I am so stealing that as a note for the light apple Highland styles. Glencadam, Clynelish, Teaninich, AnCnoc, etc. I would use white nectarine on the 10 yr. I'm used to saying the 10 yr is a green apple but the 15 is a red apple. There's always a kind of citrus brightness to Glencadam. The Glencadam 15 cost me right about that $75 you're talking about. Nailed it. When you said how much your poured (that's 2 oz not 1) and mentioned Glencadam, I was thinking it was mine. 😺
Since anCnoc 16 was discontinued, Glencadam 15 is what I have been using as my example of "Peat: No; Sherry: No" Scotch, so I definitely think it is worth it.
Ohhh nice remembering not to try and bottle guess Matt gave sweet pointers on his video this morning and you are nailing it always love your veiw point
ok, brutally honest opinion: The more I watch, the more I'm drawn to blind tastings. In your normal vids in the past I found the distillery info a bit "tiring". But then I've only recently decided I want to go back watching more Shayla again! I still like your energy and your general open-minded approach! This video certainly underlines that I want to watch more of your stuff again!
Yeah the distillery info is gone. I enjoyed the research but didn't feel like the videos were showing my personality. Glad you are enjoying the new format. Cheers!
That intro is how we feel pretty much every video. 😂 And then you proceeded to nail it! Great job Shayla!
Haha, thanks Josh. You guys are amazing!!

Yeah I thought that described it pretty well, I was thinking I was going nuts for a second but it worked out in the end. :)
I need a sampler box like that.
Haha! Cheers Bob!
SHAYLA!

For sure! I think this is a great example of the ex-bourbon cask style!
Woohoo!! I got this for retail!! I hope to get the same tasting notes when I finally open it.

Haha I saw that!! Gotta take some notes!
It's hard not to try to guess. Always trying to remind myself! 😊
Nailed it! This is so fun. Cheers
Haha thanks!! :)
You should do more blind reviews absolutely. People make a lot of judgements based on what they already know.
Okay! Will do! Thanks Jordan! 😊
Friggin nailed it.
Haha thanks ZenBood! 😊

Cheers Dunny!
Sorry, but every time I see editing in a “blind “ review, I have to give a dislike
Haha you don't want to see 20 minutes straight of me talking. I don't know of a channel that doesn't edit their reviews. :)
