My wife retires in 2-4 years and I can’t wait to leave Charlotte at this point myself .

That's too many new people! This area is not that great...people should stay out! It is already too expensive here!

It would be okay from whatever part of the country they are from, but just leave the liberal madness that they are fleeing from behind.
Don't take that garbage and bring it here, because soon enough this great state will be ruined as well.

Here’s what I noticed about different sub areas In charlotte since moving here…
Californias populate noda, they have turned it into a mini California… you can even tell by the vibe you get from being on Main Street in noda and type of architecture and LA/Hollywood hill style modular houses being built..
New Yorkers and northerners in general populate uptown/south end/loso, they like the tight packed city and urban life..tho charlotte is quickly becoming urban all over, it’s just more so established in that area..or within 10 miles of town in general.
University city is populated by global students…so it’s a more international vibe… North charlotte is being heavily gentrified, and millennial transplants are making their way there along the light rail…tons of urbanization taking place on that corridor..
Aero wood is just home to giant corporate campuses like Microsoft… so nothing really to say there residence wise..
South Park area is originally old money wealth, but quickly being transformed into a cookie cutter Beverly Hills.
Ballentyne tine is basically turning into a Silicon Valley, a lot of transplants from sanfransico..portland..Seattle..
Steele creek is QUICKLY becoming a hub for people who can’t afford to live in Charlotte proper(within 10-15 miles of uptown) but it’s now starting to urbanize and become pricey..
East charlotte and west charlotte.. are the only parts that have not been touched “yet”.
