    For tea, I actually boil water, let it rest so it just stops bubbling, then pour the water into a prepared french press, let it set a bit, press, and pour. I haven't had issues with mullien doing it this way and I drink it as part of a lot of my teas. It's so easy.

I grind rosemary and rubbed sage (not together) in my little coffee grinder, I like it ground and all other herbs that way. I don't care for plain sage, the rubbed sage has flavor

    I’ve been buying a brand of D3 with K2 from Azure Standard for several months. I’m just starting to research, though, on D3 after listening to someone who said he does not take D3 as it is made with cholecalciferol and DCon uses it in their rat poisoning! I checked DCons site and found that to be true so I looked at the particular brand that I purchase from Azure, and that brand says they make their D3 from that ingredient BUT making it via lanolin so I think the brand I have been buying is OK, but I want to learn more as I was VERY startled after getting on DCons site.
    PLEASE do your own research as I just found this information out so am just starting to learn about it.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Cholecalciferol is the chemical name for D3 the same way dihydrogen monoxide is the chemical name for water, also known as H2O.
      It is well known that too much vitamin D3 can have its own health risks by increasing the amount of calcium and phosphorus which can then cause its own problems. This is one way it works to kill rats. They are receiving extremely high doses of D3 without a proper balance. This does not mean the D3 in and of itself is highly toxic but if you take too much without a proper diet and the proper balance of other nutrients such as vitamin K2, it can and will cause problems despite what many who try to push taking high levels daily will say. There must be a balance to everything and yes, research is important but make sure you are doing ALL the research.
