Omg Same !!! Mystic marsh in the original was my absolute fav level.. Just the light pastel colors and the scenery and the overall feel of the level was my favorite. Very well... Mystic ! :) I as well used to spend hours exploring and making up lil scenarios and stories for spyro here hahah . same with autumn plains for me ! Used to want to live in the castle there hahaha.. Unfortunately i personally feel like the colors and the whole feel of this level was compromised in reignited. I Still enjoy playing the level of course but..
God i loved to do that (specially at a younger age, when the difficulty feels higher and one could spend more time in them). Spyro offered a lot of this with the levels resetting themselves too. Mystic Marshs, Fractured Hills, Hurricos, Breeze Harbor, Skelos Badlands... I started playing the reignited trilogy recently and although some noises didn't survive the remake, it's really wonderful to see those levels remastered. Really made me wish to play them again as a kid, the atmosphere was fantastic back in the day.
That's actually a common misconception. The paradigm inherent to the postmodernist fallacy of a priori knowledge stems from a systemic predilection to binary dichotomies.
@@protocol37-t1n I thought Metropolis was lazily made compared to the other 17 levels, but that's just me. I know people out there like it but I just can't get diwn with it
Love your videos ! The spyro trilogy are my fav. Best games ever ! Had so much fun playing with my mama and my brother when i was younger.. Was so magical and intriguing , and at times scary to me, but amazing. I now have the reignited trilogy and played them through last christmas :) it was a great time, was cold and snowy outside and i was drinking hot cocoa in my new christmas jammies, surrounded by all my christmas presents, playing reignited with my boyfriend cause he never played as a kid ! So he got to fall in love with the game too :) ( hes the one that got it for me because of how many times and how fondly i brought it up) and it was just as awesome playing reignited this last christmas with him ! He LOVED it too and we had so much fun..it was so cool to see someone getting to explore the worlds/ minigames / little secrets and the inhabitants in the worlds for the first time... He then said he really wishes there were more spyro games, or games similar to them. I am so greatful for these games really. Used to play with my mom and id get home from school and shed have a tray of juice and snacks ready for us all ehen we got home from school so we could play spyro and have snacks.. Shed already be sitting on the floor in front of the tv waitng for us and playing it :') walked in one time and heard " NO SHIT IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE TROLLEY! Ugh!!" hahha... My mom was so sweet. She loved playing these games with us too.. She overdosed this year and i really wish we could have played together one last time :'( we had so much fun
What I enjoyed the most in this level as a kid is that "aaahhh" scream those rhynoc creatures make when you charge them. For me it's an iconic sound effect. I really don't know why it was removed from the Reignited version.
So on the last thief, once you scare him of the edge of the cave he'll actually come all the way back. So if you just stand there, you can flame him when he comes back home!
Yeah thats why this isn't really a kid's game, even though its childlike at first glance. Levels like Frozen Altars and Lost Fleet are proof of that, where you REALLY need to use your noggin to complete those 2 levels
I love this level, not a huuge fan of it in reignited( its still great but ) but the light pastel colors and the overall feel of the level in the first one was lost in reignited :( the original just feels so different and cool and well... Mystic hahaha. I used to spend hours here exploring and making up lil scenarios and stories for spyro hahaha.. Same thing with autumn plains.
These days were so good playing.spyro and watching dbz as a kid..it makes me literally want to fucking die and erase myself from this world and.its.problems/suffering. This game just reminds.me.of the Era and beauty of y2k and early 2000s as a kid, and seeing today's world in contrast makes me.feel like a loved one died
@@CriticalofOnions that's why I'm sticking with the original Spyro trilogy sorry but the original Spyro is still the best I knew Activision didn't stay all the way true to the original Spyro games

that used to be my favorite place, i used to spend the longest time here creating stories in my mind
I used to make up stories in Breeze Harbor like I was some kind of pirate or captain XD.

This is so nostalgic...When comparing the graphics of the original Spyro to the remake, it's incredible how much technology has advanced.
True, but I still prefer the PS1 graphics, even when I was 6 yrs in 2009, I played the trilogy for HOURS!
I spent two hours in a maze WITH _SNAIL ELEPHANTS,_ *LOOKING FOR A **_PENCIL!_*
What?
Snail elephants are hilarious
You saw Spyro’s Bad Day by Mashed? Me too.
😅

Out of all the world's in Winter Thundra, Mystic Marsh has always been my favorite.

My favorite is Metropolis and will always be, the ox mission is just so fun, and the mini games over all are great

This has always been my favorite Spyro level. If I ever somehow got magically transported inti their world I'd set up my home in Mystic Marsh.
Yeah, the portals of these worlds in the PS1 looked phenomenal!

At 24:59 minutes, is the funniest spyro moment I've ever seen. Lol!

This level is the one I remember the most in Spyro 2
This level was quite strange in that it had both water types - drowning and swimmable
gotta love how this level is probably the most creative one, also the professor gets animations that are only used here
I honestly can’t believe this level has one Human in the Spyro game.
the little boy and girl spies are also human.

Wow, I remeber this level, it gave me a lot of troubles when i was doing the orbs challenges, but at the end, I finished loving it

I'm just wild about jungle levels.
Feels so much more ambient to me in the original. This is one of my favorite spyro levels.
That was my favorite level as a kid
21:47 *MY PENCIL!*
I remember playing this back in 2008.
The original is much better than the remaster. This feels like an african safari, whereas the remaster feels like a cult resort in a jungle.
I also think the original is always better than the remaster
GO TO THE POT

I never had a map on the ps1 version of this game?
Kinda hated mystic Marsh. those monkeys were a pain and the only human was a prick

Those darn thieves...
Mystic marsh.
planet: earth🌎.
realm: avalar.
element: water💧.
terrain: swamp.
Those elephants scared me as a kid
Me too even in my 30s I still have some nightmares about them.
Objectively the Reignited one looks better, but I do miss the colorful pastel water and creek bed rocks.
The auuuauuu from the rhinos 😆

I prefer the PS1 version to the original. It’s just funnier and the atmosphere is different, especially the background is what makes the level.
I felt like this level was ruined in Reignited :(
Played it last night and I'm prettt bummed they didn't add all the fog that really set the mood in the original level.
