Tears were in my eyes when you reach the peak. Last time I cried when I went Hemkund Sahib (14400ft.). There is nothing like himalayas.
Yesss... I've only done 2 easier treks but I dont know why once you reach the top you just cry... Happened to me in both the treks... such exultant feeling.
You could have reduced fast forward clips and selectively put important clips in normal speed. It is too straining for the eye. Otherwise it is pretty good.

Stok kangri banned till 2023
@@itheone123 yeah I am aware. So planning for Dzo Jongo or Kang Yatse 2 next year considering the lockdown had to postpone my plans.
@@kumargaurav3863 you can also try Yunam peak. Very easily accessible because the nearest point of convenience is Manali, and the peak is in Lahaul which is less explored than either Spiti or Ladakh, making the trek more secluded. Also the Yunam peak stands at 20000 feet just like all the three you mentioned

@V R cost was around 60k including everything for total of 10 days we travelled manali leh and also completed the summit.
@V R I think 5 or 6 days are required to climb and descend, I went with trek the himalayas who charged around 20k or something so when you include flight cost it goes upto 40k minimum

You can keep your phones, camera and batteries in warm socks or something warm which would make battery drain at less speed.

Can anyone tell me if a child of about 15 yrs can go there?
No, I think the minimum age is 16. Though you can you can go until the base camp which is lower than the peak but still it's not recommended for minors to trek as the air is very thin at high altitudes which the minors won't be able to adjust with.

Which SIM connectivity is preferred for Stok Kangri trek ?
Kunal there is only airtel and BSBL connectivity as far as I remember. That too only postpaid. Also I believe there is no connectivity post Stok Village. Btw why would you need network connectivity in such a beautiful place.

Climbing at night, plz tell me the reason.
JAVED AKHTAR TIME MANAGEMENT MAN, they covered easy climb in the dark and did hardest climb in the sunlight. Had they not started climbing at night, then they wouldn't have had enough time to cover the hardest part of the trek, that too both sides because they can't stay up there, they have to come down the same day

We have k2, 8000 ft higher then stok kangri..
And much much much tougher... k2 is the toughest mountain in the world. But highest climbable mountain in india is kanchenjunga, just 500 feet lower than k2
K2 summit is not for trekkers it’s for mountaineers....trekking and mountaineering is different. The title clearly says trekking
