Good video man really gives the viewer an authentic look at how that market area is. Feels like I'm walking with you seeing everything. Those frijoles looked amazing btw.
Again a tip of the hat to your work - these "walking around" videos are hard to do well, but these are among the best I've seen on TH-cam. Great job with the camera, the commentary, the editing - you really feel like you get the true feel of the place.
You really are the best person to show Colombia because you are Colombian and two you really give descriptions in full detail explaining yourself well. You are well spoken in English and Spanish.
Great video! The opening shot with the view of Manizales in the background was amazing. I was really amazed also with the height of the ceiling in the inside of the market. Really enjoy how you show us all the food you’re eating and of course, the different fruits and vegetables. In an international grocery in my area we can get the little Colombian bananas and they are very sweet. Con sus videos puedo escuchar español y inglés. Este es perfecto. Buen Viaje! 🔥🔥
All the work you put in really shows. You've gotten so much better at talking to the camera since your early videos. You really bringing us into the scene. Awesome stuff. Well done!
Entertaining video Andres, this is definitely an area other You-tubers won't be able to document (at least not without armed security). Safe travels to Cali and looking forward to your next video. 🙂
Good to see another video of yours!! My paisa wife is going to be so jealous when I show her that delicious bowl of frijoles. I've been trying to make that recipe in my pressure cooker up here in Canada but there's nothing like true Paisa frijoles!! :) Buen provecho, qué disfruten!!
ps... On a sidenote you mentioned about no English TH-camrs there currently. There was an Asian American TH-camr living in Manizales for a few years when I lived in Colombia (2021-23) His channel was called "Where is Wes" ... He's still creating content , I think he's currently living in Poland now after divorcing his paisa wife.
Yeah I know Wes, I remember when he was in Manizales. What I meant though, is that I haven't seen any English speaking youtuber show the market area of Manizales
Let's see, Wes didn't marry a paisa, but rather a manizaleña, he learned to differentiate paisa and caldense cultures. Furthermore, his marriage didn't last at all. Once I told him to learn how to fall in love and not propose to a woman so quickly, no one is ready to A man from Caldense tells you to get married, another man from Manizale
Colombia, in general, is a dangerous country and yes Manizales is one if the safest in Colombia bur all places around the world has it's dangerous parts although the good news is that it declined in Manizales

Thank you🫡 thats the idea for the viewer to be able to feel the vibes of the place
Gracias for showing us unique places! There’s something universal about such marketplaces. Reminds me of the same in Asia.

Hi Andres. I'm curious how much was your lunch at the market? It was huge and obviously delicious.
The frijoles with a side of meatballs, rice and plantain with a beverage cost 18,000 COP, haha yeah it is a generous portion
Thanks for sharing 😀👍 greetings from Manizales.
Saludos parcero

Lessgettit!! 💪
I've heard that the gloomy grey sky is year round in Manizales. Is that true?
Yeah it has some sunny days but its mostly grey and rainy due to its altitude and the fact its basically in a cloud forest ecosystem
He said “y’all know the vibes” I looked in the profile to see if he was from ny. It’s confirmed 😂
U should of got mondongo
haha I have mondogo all the time in Medellín
What do you do for a living. How can you afford to take all these trips all over colombia?
I work as a medical Interpreter online
