Been chasing this thing down for months. Finally picked it up today at the store here in West Palm Beach, Florida. 24 months interest, free financing, no-brainer ⚡

good deal, I think you will like the generator, same deal here took about 2-3 months for me to find a new on in stock, I ended up putting close to 1-1/2 quarts of oil in it, HB website has a start up kit with only 1 quart of oil so just double check your oil level after initial start up and first run.

@@ontimegeneralcontracting Great Thanks. Good info on the oil, others have noted the same, definitely more than the 1qt in the instruction manual. Generally a 500cc engine requires 1.12qts. Any other tips?

No, I used it to run the generator as you can see in a video also use my mig welder on it when building my drive gate and then hooked my travel trailer up to it and ran both AC units which was 50 Amps. All good so far I ended up putting about 1.4 quarts of oil total into it and running 89 octane.

FYI, it specifically says in the manual that the dipstick should not be threaded in when checking oil level. The generator will take more than 1 quart.

always break-in 10-30 reg. oil ( best for small engines) run no load for 3 hrs. change oil, then after 10 hrs. change oil ,then follow mfg. times.. thanks for the show...

It doesn’t matter, check back with me in a year. I bet it will be just fine! Look at my turbo caddy on this channel, synthetic from day 1!

Synthetic oil does not break the engine in properly you need conventional oil for proper break in

Pretty sure it's going to take more than a quart of oil. I have never put any gasoline in my dual fuel generator. It's the bane of It's existence.

Definitely louder than the inverter models…if you are in the house, does it bother you?

I have it out behind my shed and it is not bad in the house.

@@ontimegeneralcontracting I think it's your phone's microphone which makes it seem like the generator is loud. Because with all that anti vibration pads and the huge muffler, the engine will definitely produce about 70 to 80 dB lwa maximum.
How do I know that??? I recently purchased a ingco 1.2 kw generator and it has a sticker clearly mentioning (70db lwa), I thought it was bs but it appeared that my Generator which is also an open set, exposing the engine actually produces 70 dB of noise. I think these anti vibration pads and mufflers play a major role in dampening the noise

When you are without power pretty sure you don't mind it being loud

Why did you not get the warranty?

Probably because it's over $300 for the extended warranty!

Well, that is the most important part. Get it while you can. That's why it's there. Cheers
