Get a residence certificate, it mentions the time period. Attach it with the online verification and get it attested by DCP/SP Or any gazetted officer. That's how I did.

I'd recommend you lose some more so that you stay on the safer side. I'm unsure whether they'll keep you on hold since it all depends on the grooming team.

A demand draft is a financial instrument payable on demand. So in Indigo you need to pay a demand draft of ₹50000 which you'll get back after you complete 3 years in the company. It's like a security/training fee for you.
