I bought the i5 13th gen with an rtx3050 (6gb vram) last week for 750$. Ive been loving it, have been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on medium/high settings at around 70fps
Can't wait for the reviews to roll in. Seems like they've fixed some major flaws in all of the models that will be coming to my region (according to psref). Problem is that I've seen that on other regions specs go as low as 8gb ram with rtx 3050 (a new 6gb refresh with a slower memory bus) and a mediocre 60hz 300nits 45% ntsc display. At least the smallest battery has 60wh unlike the previous gen that had 45wh.
I say they fixed major flaws and by that I mean the following: DDR5 finally available on 15 inch models, bigger standard battery, MUX switch, all models now have usb c thunderbolt and most models have the 350nits 100% sRGB, 165Hz monitor. A couple of minor improvements are that both storage slots are now gen4, the power bricks are on the very least 170W (Up to 230W) and the webcam now has a 1080p version in the 15 inch model. (Personal sidenote, I dislike the LOQ logo, last gen IG3's lid looked very clean.

I got a 13700H with 4050, but I focused on a strong processor because I code and my compilation times were getting ridiculous in a U-series processor. If you plan to game 12450H can be enough, but you should make sure it has the best grahics card you can get, because that'll be your biggest bottleneck. However, if you intend to do some heavy multitasking, or even try to stream what you play, then getting a better processor WILL be a must.

depends on how intensive the video loads are, 8gigs of RAM is cutting very short nowadays so make sure you either plan on getting 16gb VERY soon or consider another laptop that does. The rest of the components should do fine for photo editing and 1080p video rendering, though things might be different if you're editing photos professionally, or doing video rendering at 1440p or 4K

Runs great so far, god of war, valorant, battlefield 1, baulders gate 3, it’s awesome, pop this bad boy into preformance mode and it’s hold up. It does get hot as fuck but in preformance mode it’s helps and I’m sure w a cooling set it would b better but over all good ass cheap gaming laptop

Which is better intel 13th gen or ryzen 7 series.? Which one shld i prefer
If you can go for the Intel, I'm currently testing the Ryzen to see how it goes, but I think the two are on par
I own one there play games on it . On battery i doesn't last more than approx 2 hrs and if you play hardcore extreme graphic it runs fantastic but it only last a hour
