Hi Jodi!! Your Fancy an ABC is so close to the colors I want to use, I'm so excited!! I was thinking Ecru on Seaweed by Fox and Rabbit which is a dark green. Your start looks so beautiful that's it's cementing that decision for me! And I love your idea of stitching the letters instead of the background of the letters. I may need to copy you on that! Of course, this is all hypothetical at this point, because I dropped everything when I saw his 2023 stitchalong and now that will be my next start!!

Your WIPs are beautiful, Jodi! As is the fabric you dyed. And something tells me your upcoming announcement is fabric related (I sure hope so........if yours is the fabric that Dusan Stanley recently showed in her video, it is 🙌🏼).
Too funny my grand dog was crying at the same time your dog was crying....haha! Every time my daughter and Son-in-law go anywhere he sits and cry's. I had Jacob's site open thinking about the stitch a long and really wanting to do 4 Elements in Japanese and fruit in plenty , The chart you are doing from Modern Folk I think a small quote would be neat in the center were the alphabet is. Great Flosstube! I missed you. I watched with my dogs and I have a whiner, too. Did his ears ever perk up when he heard your dogs. Working on Margaret Ferguson, too. Those flowers are stunning. 💛
I am also stitching a sampler on a fabric that doesn't have much fabric on the top & bottom edges. But it did have fabric on edge like yours does, so I attached the scroll frame on to the side edges and have to remember which way it is orientated when I stitch.
So happy you are back. Guess who had to buy the coffee pattern?
Jodi sew a piece of fabric on the top and bottom so it will be able to fit on a scroll frame :)

Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I’m also stitching Peacock, Unicorn, Badger (full coverage with DMC) and I’m starting Fancy an ABC this weekend! For ABC I’m going to stitch just the background and I’m using DMC 936. I love that color so much. Looking forward to seeing your progress on future videos.

Thank you Sue! On the shelf on the left side of the screen (above the lamp) there is one by Modern Folk Embroidery (Joan Sands 1839) and Anne Logan 1840 by Whilst Iris Naps. The tiny stitch in the black frame on the other shelf is Chubby Bird by Jeannette Douglas and then the large stitched sampler behind the drawer unit on the right side of the screen is an antique-y piece I found and purchased.
