I'm brazilian and i'm trying to learn spanish at my own. It's incredible to see how you learned at least a bit of the language in a short time. Even brazilian portuguese and spanish being similar languages, I'm not as good as you!

Ceviche is a food from the Coast of Peru. It has 2000 years old and was created by Moche Culture. In Cusco is prepared using Trucha ( Trout ), what is not bad, but the best of the best in Lima CIty

You are going to notice soon that in Spanish spoken in Peru is crisp. Clear and slow with not that much slang. It is due to the Heritage from the Past, because the country received a well-educated europeans who were living in the cities as Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, Trujillo, Cajamarca. But in the rural areas the pronunciation declines a lot
I've watched the last 42 videos of yours now. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese videos even thought i didn't understand shit, but hey that's what the subtitles are for right I'm glad to see you've gone to a Spanish speaking country now because i've been learning spanish for the past couple of years so now i can actually understand a lot of what's being said. Kinda makes me feel bad though that you're probably gonna pass my level in another couple of weeks even though you just started and i've been at it for quite a while now lol

Peru, cheap eats and great deals on drinks too. When is Max going to post his videos? I appreciate the Spanish translation, I know it's a lot of work for you
40 soles is more than enough in the local areas of Cusco. If you go to Lima though, it really depends on where you're going, you can get literally get an entire lunch for 10 soles, or for 70, you just gotta know where you're going.

Now just to bring it around into a vast circle... there's Peruvianized Chinese food, I used to see it in Miami! It has its own restaurants, plus odd bits of it appear in popular restaurants. "America" might be "Estados Unidos" there btw, abbreviated EEUU. Everything is looking good so far. Ceviche is really premium and rare around here. I knew a Korean professor who used to go to Peru, he couldn't get over the Ceviche, said it really suited the Korean taste, enough to make him want to move there!
LOL man it is a small world, been to Mercado Central de San Pedro & had my juice from the same stall albeit didn’t have my civeche till I got to Lima. Peru is a fun country. 🙂👍

It's pretty normal now, thanks for caring :) We've been out a lot and met many people and still haven't gotten sick. Peru has a high vaccination rate so we're all good.
@@chrismixlewis most of them were vaccinated with the Chinese and Russian vaccine which are the worse in the world, with low effectiveness. It’s because of the corruption that’s going on with their new communist/ terrorist president.

Indeed it is quite clear and slow! Very easy to understand.
Where I live in Mexico we talk very similar and I was also surprised how similar the accent is.

Cusco was much safer than I thought. Great experience there.
The safest countries are in the south-west part of South America. Peru , Chile & Argentina

how did you get an exchange rate of $1USD = 4 Soles? my bank only gave me $1USD = 2.8 Soles. Does the airport in Lima give you 1USD=4 Soles? thanks!
I always withdraw from an ATM. If you exchange stuff at banks in the US/airports you’ll often get a terrible exchange rate :(
