I have a pair of these, and I liked them better than the 3050i floor stander, which I sold on. They imaged very well and the base is great. However I then picked up a pair of Dali Oberon 1's for half price. I preferred the Dali's they play way better at low volume, and at 80 db which is my normal listening levels the Oberons just sound more dynamic and they image even better. However push it over 85 -90 db and the little Oberon 1 just starts to run out of puff and the 3020i comes in to its own. The fact i will part with them despite using the Dalis for every listening day shows how good they are. Plus they do look better than my Oberon 1. Funnily enough I also tried a pair of 3030i's did not like them at all, base was great but it made the midrange sound muddy.

I would like to watch review of yours on Monitor Audio brand. ❤
Maybe even on old models like Silver 2 , Silver 6 , Silver 100 apparently not much reviews on the net.

Recently got a Walnut pair of 3010i speakers. Combined with a sub, VERY impressive. Haven't tried the 75-85dB bass test yet though. Might play the bank scene from HEAT to scare the neighbours.

The denon dm41 dab ,and the q acoustic 3020 i,s are more than a match for my cambridge audio ca60 and axa dac , with monitor audio bronze 6,s biig buggers , 3x the cost, i would get the denon and Qs,every day awesome sound straight. From the box (with my QED speaker cable and plugs) for the price the 41 sounds tight and bassy sharp and vocals arent pulled into the background when instrumentals build up into an otherwise would be riot, awesomely clear ,

I prefer these over the Klipsch RP600s anyday. The highs are sparkling crisp yet gentle on 3020is. They do tame the brightness of vintage Japanese amplifiers from the 80s and 70s.

I have a 1983 pioneer amp which sounds great paired with the 3020i's.

Too many affordable speakers are one note bass, look for paper woofers to get some transients in the bass, it's just as important as mid and high frequency, not an easy task for a two way speaker. Never over look older speakers either some great bookies out there for not much money . In all audio it seems speakers are dragging their feet . Many new models are based on older tech, polk r200 with turbine bass drivers, nope JVC did that 50 years ago, Sony ssc5s is just the latest model going back 35 years of the same design.. Materials do get better, but I don't think they have really improved on paper based drivers . Well that's my 2 cents worth .

Listening to them both long term with different genres, I would have to give the edge to the Oberons. While the 3020's plus sub go deeper in the bass, the Oberons bass is more accurate.

Should I get these or the 3030i?

Your reccomending a sub bass unit ,to new stereo soeakers ? Like thats interfering in the stereo speakers soundwave and making them different alltogether ? Not the best advice for new speakers 😮

Wanting to get this pair for a while now. Do you think these will pair well with the 'fosi audio tb10d' or a similar class D mini amp?
Because the speakers alone (preowned) costs double the retail where I live.

The big question is are they gonna replace your Dali's? I would like to know cause I can get a good deal here in the USA on the Q's like new for $200 dollars 💵 I was very impressed with your guitar playing skills and especially the red hair. You looked very glamorous 😂

I'm going to do some side by side comparisons for my next video. I'm thinking of starting a rock band after that performance! 😅🎸

I have QA2050i bought on online market. Liked its build quality but not the sound. Sounds harsh and weak bass like hearing music trough the phone.
Idk, if this speakers need a big wattage amps? I use Marantz PM8006.
Then i bought Wharfedale Diamond 230, its sound really good pairing with PM8006. I never tried QA 3000 series. I think my 2050i's experience is more than enough...😅
